I take issue with the bolded. I believe that finding a quarterback who prefers to go forward rather than backwards is definitely one of the top five needs of this organization.

Sam worked hard on kicking it with skanks. In the offseason he caught mono and that set him back and he was never the same. Well, skanks and Gase.

LOL kicking it with skanks! I thought that's why these guys strive to become NFL QBs! The 'ring' is secondary....

Ever hear of (or see) a guy named Fran Tarkenton? He may have piled up more yardage going backwards and side to side than anyone in history, but he's in the HOF. "Running backwards" isn't a problem, having shitty pass pro, and no one to throw to is.

So, I’m not rooting for the guy to fail or anything, but this would really take a lot of the sting out of it.

I'm still waiting for your proposed trade for Jimmy G. Let's hear it.

While I would certainly agree that "having shitty pass pro, and no one to throw to" is a problem, so is going backwards. Zach Wilson is no Fran Tarkenton. You really don't want to make that comparison.
