Other teams find guys off the practice squad who come in and ball. Why can’t the Jets put anyone other than this invalid under center?
Zach showed up to the game and that's it. He doesn't get anything else there. He isn't a NFL starting QB
I have no doubt that he will continue to be the starter for as long as Saleh/Douglas remain here and Rodgers is out.
I really appreciate Zach Wilson costing the Jets an extra 25 yards in sack losses by running backwards instead of THROWING THE FUCKING BALL AWAY!!!!!
Playing Zach isn't fair to the other 52 guys on the team. I was tempted to start a thread with that title and a blank post but didn't. Maybe I should though...
It's last season all over again. I don't know how you can keep trotting him out there and expect the rest of the team to be fine with it. I don't think Siemian would do much better but you've at least gotta try something else.
Zach sucks, but the the whole offense really came together and made this a team loss. Dropped passes, fumbles, OL, and those pre snap penalties really just made it feel like they wanted to take the heat off of ZW
Pitiful. Yeah the OL isn't good but I don't want to hear anybody say "but the OL! Who could play QB behind this OL!" He seems like a good kid who tries hard but it's brutally obvious every single week he doesn't have what it takes to play QB in the NFL. Will Levis, Aidan O Connell and Tyson Bagent all look way better than ZW.
Saleh needs to sack up and bench Zach. I don't know if Tim Boyle is better or worse. I don't know if Trevor Siemian is better or worse. I just know that Zach has been given every chance in the world and he still does not look like a competent NFL QB. He's not even mediocre. He's bad. Every single starting QB in the NFL - including Tommy DeVito - is better than him. Worse than having not earned the right to start, his play has forfeited any "right" to start for this team. He stinks. I've seen enough. Hell, the whole football world has seen enough. Give everyone else a chance.
He threw 49 times tonight and the team scored 6 points. The incompetence it takes to allow that to happen is a low even for the Jets. Are they even on pace to outscore Gaces teams?
Do we need to see anything else? Did we need to see anything else last year ? Where are the cackling hyenas mocking the thought of bringing in a veteran QB and OT? We don’t need old vets, we good with Zach and Billy Turner. This wasted season is on JDs inaction when facing the blatantly obvious.
