pointing out what you did doesn't make the mass shootings go away either. we have a mass shooting issue in this country. we are the only country that has it on the scale we do. We are fucked up. we continue to be fucked up, you're doing nothing to help.

The country clearly has a problem with guns getting into the hands of lunatics that shouldn’t have them. I don’t think the blanket banning if a specific weapon type solves the problem though.

You think the gun is the problem, I think the head is the problem, and gun part of the problem. What makes you think you’re helping more than I am

Or, hopefully he’s captured alive (minus any further casualties) and tied down after being injected with enough truth serum to float a battleship. That he had already “turned himself in” by saying he heard voices suggesting he kill people and it still ended up with him doing just that more than suggests that somebody dropped the ball by releasing this ticking time bomb …let alone with full carry rights. Insane.

Looking at this recent news item, would that include ‘magic schrooms?’

Have you surrendered your assault rifle to the authorities yet?

I think both are the problem.

I'm tired of seeing little bitches with big rifles taking out 50 people at a time.

Funny you mentioned that, he's a multiple time failure in the marriage department who had a restraining order on him after he beat up one of his exes. Also saw a quote from someone I believe at the range he used to go "we knew to stay away from him"

Everyone should be… but this trained guy could have done it with 2 handguns, so could others. So where do we start, when we all have a full understanding of the guns we are talking about

So, are you saying if he couldn’t get that specific gun, he wouldn’t have done anything?

I think there are still a lot of people that don’t k ow the difference between semi and full auto, the fact that full auto is not legal here, and that most semi auto hand guns fire just as rapidly . Point being, ban the rifle, and as soon as they figure out they can do just as much with another type of gun, what then?

No, but if he just wanted to shoot his gun, he could have went to the range. Sounds more like he wanted to do harm, and I’m sure he was versed enough to know he could have done it without the rifle.

he did want to do harm. So he chose the rifle that was easiest to do it with.

We are just dumb enough as a society to allow that to happen

Why would the rifle be easier, especially in close proximity?

They all knew he was dangerous yet it seems nobody could have done anything to stop him from planning, executing and now being on the run and who knows maybe pulling this again until he's neutralized. This guy is not your typical loser mass shooter who wants to go down in a blue of glory. That might end up being the case but he was trained by us to kill and who knows what else he's capable of.

I think that's a question for the perpetuator. I dont really care other than to say if another weapon was easier, he probably woulda chosen that instead
