It has been finalized that the Jets are picking one spot behind n.e. That really sucks. I believe they will do something like, trade down to a team that want the position the Jets want or even pick someone the Jets are high on.
I know I'm paranoid but the way bill feel about Eric leaving for the Jets, it wouldn't surprise me.
In saying that, I hope the Jets will get the roster set to the point it will be harder to figue which way they will go compared to last year.

Yes you're paranoid but that doesn't mean they're not after you ...

The Patriots will not base their selection on the Jets wants/needs. They will do what is best to improve their team. Even if they wanted to base their selection on what we wanted they have no way of knowing for sure who we want to pick or what position we're looking to pick.

How are we going after NE? I'm confused, and that doesn't happen often. The loser of the NE/IND game is going 28th, the winner 31st or 32nd. The Jets are going 25th.

Personally, I would love to see Woodley fall to us in the first. NE needs WR and CBs but LB too, especially if Tully leaves. NE could snatch him up right before us. This sucks.

Oh good point forgot all about that.. NE picks 24th and either 28th, 31st or 32nd depending on the rest of the playoffs.

DevTeam & JetsIn2004 & others that might not understand how teams are positioned for the draft.

With seattle losing at this point in the playoffs and based on there regular season record, they have the 24th pick. The Jets have the 25th.

Also, I want to mention that if we can even get close to being as good as the patriots are right now in the next 10 years, I'll be ecstatic.

Actually no, you submoron. Look at what they are. Would you not prefer to see the Jets in that position? Would you be willing to wait to have the Jets be in a position to win a championship EVERY YEAR for 6 years straight?

Wouldn't the jets pick in front of seattle based on seattle going an extra round in the playoffs?

No. Draft order is record first, then ties broken by depth into the playoffs. Only exception, the 2 SB teams pick 31/32

Seattle should still be behind the Jets pick because they were in the playoffs this weeked so theres no way they could be ahead of us

    Nope.

Seattle was 9-7, Jets 10-6. The only way that Seattle was going to be behind the Jets is if they made the Super Bowl.

Thats what I thought but I guess not. We had a better record in the reguler season.
