Just got an email from the Jets that my 2024 invoice will be available to see in my account on Monday Oct 23. You can pay in full by Nov 15th, 2023, or take a 6-month installment plan with the first payment due Nov 15. Anyone else get this and I wonder why they are having fans renew early. Usually, they wait until after the season is over.

So people get locked in before they hear Aaron Rodgers' retirement announcement?

The 2024 home games stink this year compared to last year.

Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots, Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, Los Angeles Rams, Seattle Seahawks and probably the raiders

2024 Road games - Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots, Jacksonville Jaguars, Tennessee Titans, Arizona Cardinals, San Francisco 49ers, AFC North, NFC North road

8 home games and 9 road games next year. But nope, Jets will not provide a discount next year.

This is an easy one: despite the slow start, there's hype around the team, may as well take advantage of people in whatever way you can. Woody's unspoken mantra.

Did the heading of the email say, "Rodgers Will Take The Jets To The Superbowl...and we REALLY mean it this time"

I respect you guys for keeping your season tickets despite all the BS. That's loyalty! If I had season tickets, I'd have canceled 2024 already.

I still think it’s silly to buy season tickets unless money is really no object. With the internet, you can get tickets to every game cheaper, especially with a bad franchise that often isn’t competitive into Thanksgiving.

I guess you don’t sit in the same seats every time but meh. It’s not like baseball or basketball/hockey where you can buy packages for volume discounts.

Wait until you see the heavy price increase that’s about to be dropped. Woody needs Jesus.

Dear Jesus. Can you make Woody sell the team to an owner who knows about winning? Thank you.

I can't believe the Jets are still doing this bullshit. Actually, I can - who am I kidding. Heard some guy on the radio today telling Boomer and Gio about his predicament, which mirrors my experience. The Jets are disgusting, and I haven't set foot in the stadium since Week 1 of 2017. I go to road games, obiviously I still support the team, but I will not give Woody Johnson my money ever again.

My story: I got my PSLs in 2010 when the stadium opened like everyone else, and by 2016 the team was a trainwreck and you could blow your nose with the paper they were written on. At the end of 2016, the Jets were sending "sponsored" emails enticing people to come to the games at a discount and get free concessions. When they were called out on it, they swore it wasn't them but a sponsor. Yet it came from their email address - and the fine print did indeed state it was a sponsored email. The lettering, however, was so small that it looked like flecks of dust. When asked where the discounts and free concessions were for season ticket holders, they said, in essence, "too bad, you already paid". It wasn't that exactly, but it was pretty close and that was definitely the message.

I should add here that the PSLs have a clause that if you don't purchase the season tickets for the year, the Jets reserve the right to force you to forfeit your PSL. If you aren't familiar with PSLs, they are the biggest scam EVER - and the Jets and Giants together pulled off a mighty heist by double dipping, But that's neither here nor there.

So for 2017 I told the Jets I wanted to take a year off from the season tickets, sell mine to someone else for the season. They told me I would forfeit my PSLs (I had 3 seats), and I told them that their clause was an optional one - were they really going to evoke that clause at such a time when the team was so bad that they couldn't PAY people to come? They said yes, thinking I was bluffing because why would anyone walk away from their PSLs. They probalby also knew they couldn't sell my season tickets that year and figured the bluff would work. I literally told them to shove the PSLs up their asses, and never looked back.

Today, as I stated above, some guy called in because he was being forced to lay down a deposit for next year now - 5 weeks into the season - and the team threatened to forfeit his PSL if payment for the deposit wasn't received in a timely manner. (I forget the timeframe). This is unconscionable. I know it's not ALL Woody, but he obvously has a hand in it and he's a lowlife scumbag son of a bitch for doing this to fans. This piece of human garbage destroyed a 10-year waiting list in one shot, priced people who had been loyal ticketholders for 50 years either out of their lower level seats and into the upper deck or out of the stadium entirely, and now steals their PSLs if they don't continue to feed the kitty. And now, he forces people to renew their tickets 6 months earlier than usual.

    Truly evil.

There are a ton of people with PSLs who have a gun to their heads and literally have no choice but to continue to buy the season tickets or forfeit their PSLs. This is the Number 1 reason why there are so many fans of other teams in the stadium: people put their tickets up to make their money back. The only time this isn't true is the rare times that the Jets are good and have a big game at home. Even then, a fair amount will sell the tickets for the higher price that the game commands - but most other times, the Jets suck and no Jets fans wanna go - so you get empty seats and opposing fans.

MetLife is an atrocity of a stadium not only phsycially but because of what it's done to the fan base.
