They need to keep him here no doubt about it. JD better not let the pride set in, ie i took 2 edge rushers in the first round yet Huff is much more effective. Don't question the good fortune right in front of you, and sign him now.
Huff is good. And I just fear we sign these one year wonders d turn out to be ineffective the next couple of years.
That's what they did in the second half a number of times and it's when Tony Adams stopped Russ just past the LOS on a scramble. They do need to do it more though.

I remember the good debate we had in the original Huff thread. I said 4/$50 million if he continued to play well and get more reps. He may have already played past that at this rate.
the problem with that is the full $16 mill goes against the cap. Got to get creative with signing bonuses and whatnot.
Since all we do is lose, we have been trained to focus on the draft as our super bowl. We've been conditioned to try and figure out how we can grab as many picks as possible. I originally came here to make a post about trying to figure out how we can sign all these pass rushers and LB's but I guess it will be impossible now.
Good news is I think we can finally cut ties with Mosley and Lawson next year which will free up space. We MUST keep huff, JFM and Quincy. Maybe lil Mac will turn into a big Mac.
