We are 23 year old today. Thank you Petrozza for putting in all the work and thank you posters for making this place what it is today.

Reading this really quickly it looks like we were having pizza for our 23rd birthday. I guess we will have to settle for arguing with each other like idiots on empty stomachs. Thank you for giving us a place to rant and rave! I can’t believe I was in college when I signed up for this website. 2003.

 

This place has wasted far too much of my valuable time.

I'd sue if I could afford a lawyer...

The halcyon days

Got my first Jets season tix 15 years ago. Immediately joined here. Lurked for a long time, posted a couple of bits of drunken nonsense. know much less about football than most here. Moved to Chicago a few years ago and tried to switch to being a bears fan. Very similar fan base, similar problems, similar reminiscing about a team (85) that was awesome but hasn't done much since.

Missing the Jets, came back after watching MNF and remebering the good times. Glad to see this site is still going strong! Congrats.

 

whoa, 23 years ago was around the time i got me a Testaverde jersey. didn't find and join here until Butt Fumble 2012

 

Oh. boy. It was that long.

I remember watching the Monday night miracle on my bunk on Tuesday morning - I was stationed in Camp Bonifas back then, in DMZ, South Korea. Probably the best morning in Al Groh era.

We've been through a lot since then - the greatest offensive coordinator Jets ever had up till then in the notorious Brian Schottenheimer, (I still dread over that name. Jesus!), a handful of god-awful drafts (and GMs, and HCs...) Some good times with Rex Ryan and et al.

Yeah - there was also that; there was a group of people who bolted from TGG. They even approached me. Good thing I didn't leave for them. (I didn't want to anyway!) What was their website again? (Har har har)

Anyway, Thanks, Petro for all those years. Here's a small hope for another prosperous 20 years!
