https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/38507068/robert-saleh-players-ok-aaron-rodgers-calling-jets "We shouldn't be having scuffles on the sideline, whether it's positive or negative." -- Connor McGovern I wouldn't mind checking out a positive scuffle. Sounds vaguely erotic.
Since many of those guys in the locker room were around last season when things went south, all one needs is common sense to conclude they're going through another "here we go again" moment. The negative vibrations will only continue to amplify unless the team either starts to post some wins or completely severs the chord with Zach. Now the question becomes: will it be easier to win games or completely move away from Zach? Even super fans like Namath are bewildered as to why the organization refuses to take the path of least resistance by cutting their losses on this monumental fail. With regards to Rodgers, was he not openly critical of his Packer teammates early last season when they were off to a rocky start? In addition, this may not have been the only time he threw shade on his teammates. So let me get this straight? AR is kosher with criticizing other players, but other players are not permitted to do the same? Is this one of those do as I say and not as I do things? While Namath has earned the right to be overly critical of an inept organization, Rodgers four illustrious plays as a Jet renders him irrelevant, and leaves his words carrying little or no weight in the latest episode of Jets Family Feud. While the Chiefs may be better than the Jets at winning football games, ironically, the Jets are much better at slinging arrows - usually at each other. Survey says better stop slinging and start finding some answers quick, because the clock is ticking and Richard Dawson is getting ready to boot their ass from the stage.
I would love to see quotes of all the things Cimini wrote that weren't or didn't turn out to be true. What's on this audio that's not for real?
Exactly, if the locker room is blowing up over a "quarterback controversy" as claimed last year we should look for the common thread - here, let me help: Aaron, Chris, Joe, Mike, Tim, Trevor, Zach. Who would have ever thought a guy could get rich selling "Trevor F'n Siemian" tee shirts in the parking lot Sunday.
Elijah Moore has more receptions than Garrett Wilson this season. For Garrett Wilson's career, it would be madness to stay here.
Not good. Wesley Steinberg on X: "An anonymous player for the #Jets threw a football at HC Robert Saleh’s head in practice earlier today and a small brawl broke out, before players and coaches stepped in. Things are falling apart in New York. https://t.co/nxCljnUuij" / X (twitter.com)
I just saw a reel of Julian Edelman talking about when Bellicheck put him on Defense against the Jets for practice basically, preparing to ultimately guard Jamaal Charles wherever he went when they faced KC later. Why is this relevant to us? Because when Diggs and Lamb were abusing us from the slot a reporter asked why not put Sauce or Reed on the receiver wherever he lines up. Saleh’s answer was that concept would fundamentally overhaul the entire defense. One HOF coach finds solutions, our coach still insists that monkeys be able to run his D.
The same account also posted this shortly after: #Jets players collectively kneeled at the start of practice this morning in support of signing FA QB Colin Kaepernick. Think we can safely say this is a parody/junk Twitter account.
I love that Rodgers came out and called them out for the sideline stuff. He's a true leader and the sooner he gets back to the facility, the better.
He has to stfu. He has done nothing for this franchise except handcuffing it. Last season he called out his former teammates. Hope he retires-the sooner the better
