The only thing the Jets have going for them is expectations are as low as can be and that usually leads to better things than when there's a lot of hype and hope.
KC leading 98-6 and they kick a last minute FG causing the scoreboard to rotate around to show KC 01, Jets 06...............Jets win!
If this wasn't on Sunday Night, I'd say it had all of the hallmarks of being that one game every year the Jets win that absolutely mystifies everyone, that one game they win that they have absolutely no business winning, but somehow pull it out. But, our primetime history kind of negates that. This is going to be an absolute shellacking, and will probably be the beginning of the wheels falling completely off of this season.
Our chances of holding KC to somewhere around 10-13 points is pretty low. I'd just send us out in a 12 set. Tell Hardman he's going post or corner and if there's no help over the top then he's getting the ball. If Hardman is doubled then it's going somewhere in the vicinity of Garrett with the only other option being an out to the RB or one of the TE's. Zach has max help to give him time to throw one of three options and if he does cough up interceptions then is it really any worse then going 3 and out.
Now that proves you are a loyal fan. You might want to sneak in some serious liquor to ease your pain. Your relatives should be thanking you for giving the Chiefs such an easy game to celebrate with Taylor Swift.
I have a feeling this is the game where G Wilson loses it with the other Wilson again. Nationally televised game with an ass kicking surely coming.
That is definitely possible, but the Jets are expected to lose here. Besides Chris Jones will probably destroy the OL and make life miserable for Wilson. Next week at Denver if they lose that one to drop to 1-4 then the shit will hit fan after that game.
Actually, you might be right. A loss to Denver would be the game. I expect more frustration after the Chiefs though.
Since the Jets don't wanna bench this kid, and we are losing anyways they need to let him unleash this weekend stop with the I don't want to make a mistake shit tell him to go out there and play however he wants, if he gets 10 interceptions so be it, he can't do any worse than the last 3 games. Let him play like he played in highschool and college. He clearly plays better when he doesn't need to use his brain.
Full air raid bombs away offense.... direct snaps to Breece... empty the tool box. Sadly I dont think Zach will see the guys getting open
https://x.com/aaronladdtv/status/1707095025639662019?s=46&t=RCU1EI_2cEZzRLtLmi7Csg This guy can't even answer the question without laughing about our offense.
It's even bad for Zach to continue being trotted out there when he's not up for the task. It's the coach's job to pull a player when they're not performing well enough, not just for the team's sake but the player's own too. Who wants to see somebody floundering out there? This isn't helping his development or doing him any favors. Yet another in the long line of examples of how he hasn't had to earn anything since getting here. Tim Boyle probably isn't good but he kind of looked like he knew what he was doing in the preseason and that's more than you can say about Zach back there being completely indecisive with the game moving way too fast for him. Gotta play Boyle if/when Zach is unable to see open receivers again. And get Siemian up to speed. He's not inspiring but he's an NFL QB who has looked competent for stretches.
So Taylor swift is coming to support her boyfriend, the intellectual donut. There you go woody, the opposing team fills your seats and makes you money. Good thing for that, because your team usually has them empty at week 4.
Heard this morning ticket sales up a whopping 175%. Looks like I'll be in a sea of Swifties and Chief fans on Sunday Nite.
That's so fucking bizarre..... once the game becomes a bloodbath, a good loud drunken "Swifties Suck" chant could be a fun way to pass the time.
