This is another issue with holding onto ZW even now--you drafted him as a ready for nfl QB--not a developmental prospect. Once he no longer fits why you got him, you need to cut your losses much like SF did with Lance. Else you're in this position whereby you will keep him all 4 years, and lets just say he looks ok in games 11-17 next year. Then you now have to sign him to an extension because you stuck with him so long. An analogy is if you stay in a texas holdem hand with a 3 and 5. You pair the 5 on the flop. Guess what---you're still going to lose anyway but now its hard to drop. Should have dropped right before the flop and we should have dumped ZW before this year.

I guess the benefit of his performances so far this year is that we aren't going to be Danny Dimed into paying for sub-optimal production.

I think Zach retiring before this contract is up is more likely than him getting his 5th year option getting picked up. NO FUCKING way either of those things are gonna happen...
I think Zach should try a darkness retreat and some hallucinogens with Aaron Rodgers. Maybe that will fix his head.
