What you are witnessing is an OC like the last one who has NO trust in ZW. Your last statement maybe true but probably more likely that he is hamstrung by ZW inability to process the game, make the correct line callls (which he usually doesn't) and make average QB decision quickly.... just my take. ne last point, in 25 games since being drafted, Zach Wilson is completing a meager 54.9 percent of his throws, has thrown more interceptions (22) than touchdowns (17) and owns a horrific passer rating of 69.2. I beleive that is the reason not the OC.
Omg that play was brutal. It seemed like a joke at first. The pats defenders were standing around looking at each other as if they were trying to figure out who'd get credited with the sack in the stats. LOL
How much different would the mood be if we had picked fields? I wonder. He stinks too. ANy thoughts? I think we'd be a bit less caustic cos he was not a reach pick.
Fields throws the ball down field and has several passes over 50 yards. Fields can escape pocket and run. Yes been careless with the ball at times but when was the last time a Jet had a QB that ran? Fitzpatrick? And like you said he would be less high expectations pick.
The crazy thing is Zachy will retire after a flameout as a backup's, backup somewhere and will prolly end up doing color commentary on college games. Dude will end up with a pretty amazing life when all is said and done. Granted, he's a laughingstock as a QB and in time will be in the conversation with Ol' Purple Drank and Ryan Leaf as all-time QB busts, but still...
I am sure he will. I like to hear him criticize a QB and am sure he will be good because of his some failures.
I'm not saying SF wouldn't trade Darnold under any circustances. But I would wager that the price tag would be appallingly high at this point. Not that it shouldn't be.
Zack Wilson says " we obviously can't throw the ball" Even he realizes it. In we he means I. (1) Zach Wilson doesn't blame Jets fans for the boos #shorts - YouTube
Zach says he wears the headband because the sweat gets in his eyes and he can't see. I'd argue that he can't see anyway, might as well play blind.
Agreed. How can it be Hack's fault when receivers were open all game. Can you blame the guy for trying to run, even against 9 men boxes? We won't know whether Hack is good or not until we have a functional OLine and a functional QB. The later just wasn't there in the last game.
There are names on the chart that represent what might have been with different management. I see Wentz, Ryan and Carr at or above the corner of Broadway and Main St.
