On Brandon Tierney’s show today he mentioned that he had a source that said during the game yesterday Saleh kept asking to the “people up top” whether he should be pulling Zach. I havent seen this anywhere else, but this would such a big problem and should be a bigger story if true.
Yah…hard to know what to believe…but if the HC can’t make a decision about who plays then we have a fucking bigger problem than just a terrible QB Wouldn’t surprise me with this team, but holy man…that should be a coaching decision all day every day
It pretty much has to be true. No sane coach would keep sending him out there. Saleh is a defensive head coach whose whole deal is getting his defense fired up and ready to kill the opposing quarterback. He doesn’t want to look his guys on his side of the ball in the face and tell them Wilson is the guy unless someone has a knife to his neck.
I lost all respect for both Tierney and Licata after they resorted to becoming shock jocks that only spew click bait worthy material. WFAN has turned into a complete joke.
I believe this, it just logically makes sense. The only question is who "people up top" refers to. It has to mean JD right? We know Douglas isn't exactly quick to admit he whiffed on high draft picks, and Wilson is the highest profile pick he's ever made.
Figured I would share this since we are talking WFAN https://x.com/uSTADIUM/status/1706408220191764888?s=20
If you are a coach you shouldn’t have to be asking anyone wether you should pull anyone unless your just a puppet.
Licata says a lot of dumb shit. Off-topic but he wanted the Yankees to go all-in on a playoff push at the deadline and thought they were a WS contender. He said something really dumb about the Jets a couple weeks ago too.
I'm glad Joe B. laid into Tiki. Barber is such smug, Jet hating jerk. He couldn't take the heat and left the set like a baby. Well Done.
Im in FL so I don't listen to WFAN often but working in front of the computer today and listen to the fan via itunes today.... Joe can be emotionally irrational and annoying but I gotta admit that was funny as hell....
Hard to believe Saleh is not provided with a copy of the script before the game starts. Are we supposed to believe that pulling Zach is the only decision which is made from upstairs? In all fairness, Bobby has been put between a hard place and a rock, selling fairy tales to increasingly skeptical customers, who are realizing they have been hosed.
ZW has 2 good possessions out if what 5/6 no huddle offense in last two games. That s the only reason I can think he and staff may say he s our best chance we got.
I don't get the hate for Tiki. He's trying to make rational, balanced points. That was unhinged even for Joe B. I don't mind him but his conspiracy-ish stuff is a bit much. Only Rob Saleh should be making QB decisions. Who "up top" does he need to answer to about what should be a football decision? Concerning if true...
Too bad he didn't talk about Tiki Barber banging some blonde one step below a hooker he got pregnant and left his wife for where said now ex-wife gladly later rolled him divorce court for his stupidity. Alright, that is complete bush league that I actually do NOT agree with, but I'm not a sports caster that needs to take the high road and I hate the Giants so . . . Oh, and seeing as I'm not a sportscaster, I'll go on to say that I thought it was hilarious when that POS Cheats sycophant Jim Nantz cried about his divorce. I can't explain how or why it was so fcking funny, but it was, trust me on it. Here's a taste: https://www.thebiglead.com/posts/ji...-he-has-a-29-year-old-girlfriend-01dxe6jxh82v Yay! I just checked! I'm STILL not a sports caster!
