Bill is known for taking away the other team's top weapon on offense. If Rodgers were playing, he would have to choose between selling out to stop the run with Hall or take Wilson away from Rodgers. Of course, with a big downgrade at QB now he will try and take Hall out of the game and force Wilson to beat him. I have no faith in the MILF man. The D is going to have to play its ass off and get turnovers like they did in the Bills game for the Jets to win.
Our O-line isn't going to get much pressure on a QB in a system designed to get the ball out quickly and with our best CB's staying outside the hashes then I'm expecting them to dink and dunk on crosses and slants down the middle all night long. Offensively they'll take away Garret (if fit), send Judon off the edge and force Zach into heaving the ball into the Garrett coverage or move to his second read. We're going to be totally reliant on Breece's ability to break off long runs or the more unlikely scenario of actually planning for an executing an attack where we get the ball to Hardman quickly and rely on his speed for YAC. Pats 20 - 13 Jets
I would be shocked if the Pats get to 20 if we don't give them a million short fields with zw turning it over. they struggled last year vs in both games. if ulbrich and saleh come out in a soft zone i am going to lose it. they also cant play jfm at edge, that guy needs to be an interior player. let WMD, Huff, and JJ get the edge. i am so done with lawson also.
I don't think so. I know the Dallas game was ugly, but I feel (or at least hope) adjustments will be made. I'm not saying they going to drop 30 points, but I think somewhere in the range of 17 to 23 points seems right.
I dont think so. Pats defense gave up 25 to the Eagles and 24 to the Dolphins, these are two of the best offenses in the NFL, if not the best two offenses. This Jets offense doesn't get close to 23 without a defensive score
Pats defense is going to FEAST on Zach. We are looking at yet another game where we will be struggling to put drives together. The only way we really put up points I think will be if our stars make individual great breakaway plays…Hall on the ground or GW on a short pass that he takes for a long gain. But if any of those hopeful long gains don’t make it to the house, we’re likely looking at field goals. The only way we win is for our D to really play lights out
That could be just the distraction the Jets need...with romo and Nance hanging off belichiks nuts and all.
Hate to use cheesy terminology, but this is a MUST WIN. The Jets absolutely have to slay this dragon if they ever want to take the next step. They are at home, the stadium should be rocking, Patriots haven't been that good but we know BB is a mastermind when it comes to confusing young QBs. No excuses, they have to win. Force Jones to make mistakes, keep the pressure on, and run the ball. Winning this game could determine how the rest of the season goes. Get that momentum going.
Sunday's uniforms. Going with the all-white again. The Gridiron Uniform Database (gridiron-uniforms.com)
Actually, I might have jumped the gun on the all-whites. It is confirmed white jerseys but the pants have "TBA" next to them. It could mean the all-whites or white over black, white over green.
The Pats allow the third highest YPC on zone runs. Snap the ball, turn around, and hand it off to Breece 15+ times. This doesn't need to be hard.
