If he hasn’t been fired by now after the team basically quitting on him at the end of last season I’d say his job is safe, that’s what happens when you have the worst ownership in all of sports and people who hire coaches not qualified for the job in the first place
I'd hate to get rid of Saleh--he's got a lot to offer as a HC. But he needs a guru OC. Don't know how many have seen the Jetsx article on Uzomah catastrophic blocking while Ruckert balled out yetr Uzomah played 5x as many snaps. Add in Breece, sitting #1 pick, and you get a really bad vibe from managment.
I feel like short of us only winning a few mores games and finishing with like 4-5 wins, Saleh and JD will be back next year. Ya gotta remember that they sold Woody on this year being with Rodgers and then he's gone within 4 offensive plays. Feels like Woody will give them at least 1 year with the QB they sold him on before making a decision like that.
If there's a headline in it, Woody will sniff it out. He luvs his splash and if there's a big name out there to replace either of these guys with, Woody probably would make the switch.
Similar scenario with Todd Bowles and I would also opine Rex Ryan to a lesser degree. Seems to be a pattern at this point.
Douglas allowing Woody the Rube to meddle again is a tremendous problem that will garner disastrous results. I'm not a chemist, but if a qualified person thinks I could blow something up by accident by screwing around in a hazardous materials lab without the proper credentials, they would be right. The analogy speaks for itself.

IMHO he will be fired if:1) CS continues to GP as badly as they did for dallas w/ NO adjustments, 2) losses mount up, i.e., 1-7 in his last 8 games... if 1 & 2 happen then you'll have 3) the locker room starts to deteriorate (and that maybe already starting with BH and GW twitter comments.
anyone and everyone who works for the ny jets should be worried. this team has one loss and already looks like it's about to implode. in 3 weeks we'll be replacing our qb and by week 17 everyone will be calling for changes, everywhere. not just woody.
