Didn't rule out coming back for the playoffs, oh my. Said you never know, seems confident in his time line. Also this is a quote from the show. Aaron Rodgers made it clear to @PatMcAfeeShow that he intends to play again: “Give me the doubts. Give me the timetable. Give me all the things you think can, should, will happen. All I need is that one little extra percent of inspiration. Then watch what I do.”
What was the beer commercial from a few years ago where one guy would always say, "I love you, man!" That would make a great commercial with Rodgers saying what he said on the McAfee show.
As much as I wanted to see this live, I just couldn't bring myself to watch that douchebag, McAfee. I find him so cringy with the "bro" persona. I opted to cut my lawn instead.
On the phone. Can somebody find the link of above quote or the whole segment. Above quote gave me chills. I doubt he will be ready in January but who knows..
If Zach plays well enough to get them to meaningful January games, there is virtually no chance Rodgers comes back to QB the team. Less than zero chance.
This covers a lot of the quotes, not sure where to find a full transcript. https://www.jsonline.com/story/spor...es-injury-in-new-york-jets-debut/70866716007/
I absolutely agree with you, not to mention that returning from an Achilles. Injury would surely take more than 4 months to heal , I wouldn't want Roger's back & risk him reinjuring his achiilles after Four months.. I saw a doctor talking about the injury. And he said it's a 10 to 12 month recovery time and and since the injured Achilles. It's his left Achilles. That is good because it's not his plant foot. So it's better for him. Bank on it...MOST WATCHED MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL GAME WILL BE NEXT YEAR JETS VS ? If you think this year was all about Roger's wait till next year. It will be all about Rogers and his comeback.
I didn't see the interview posted, so here it is. I tend to ignore McAfee, so doing that, it was a good interview. AR seems to be in decent spirits... I didn't know he already had surgery... .
Honest question? Will AR be allowed on the sidelines with his headset on helping not just Zach, but both sides of the ball with his acumen’s for reading the opposition formations? Are there any regulations against that while in IR?
he mentioned on the interview that it'll be a while before he's on sidelines however he's ready to get on the headset as quickly as possible and be in the box or somewhere
After I got over my own pity, I really felt for Rodgers. It was a rare moment in sports where you could tell this guy came in and just gave it everything he had. He wanted it, he wanted to prove Green Bay and haters wrong. I'll say it again, the dude fucking wanted it... and in 4 plays it was over. They being said, I'm not sure it's physically possible to return... but I'm not surprised in the slightest of the desire.
He was cool before he was super famous. Now he’s a douchebag because he leans into it too much. He is good on college game day though but that show is also magnificently produced. Amazing what that guys turned into. I think he’s lost it. Applauding Rodgers injury is sick.
Good show, except for that insecure tool that prefaces his stupid question “ I’m a Pats fan and hate the Jets” Massive journalistic stupidity. What was the purpose of that?
