Gents. been trying to investigate how to watch the games with the change and have gotten different pricing from uTUBE...UTTV 79 month + 399 for NFL ticket, ect etc. Has anyone figured out what the cost is for just game day views? Please advise,
Thread title and content don't match. Are you looking to buy Jets game tickets to go to games or legal options to watch Jets games on TV? I think it is the second but wanted to ask for sure. Like you say above, legally, youtube NFL Sunday Ticket is your only option. It is $399 as of now but if you have a college student in your family you can get it for $109 per season. Following link provides some details on how to get this. https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/13770167?sjid=5489689140546446044-NA
Find a college student for a cheaper option. I am sure there is a student in your family or a family of a friend.
Another option is to split the cost with a buddy, ST/YTTV will allow you to stream up to 2 other places outside of your primary residence. Could cut your costs in half if you can find someone who wants in. Link here: https://support.google.com/youtubetv/answer/13316318?hl=en#zippy=,how-many-streams-do-i-get "There’s no limit to the number of streams you get while watching NFL Sunday Ticket at your home. For example, you can tune in on your living room TV, while a family member watches on their tablet from a different room, and another member watches at the same time on their phone. There's no limit to the number of devices you can use to log in. Outside your home, you can watch on up to two separate streams."
Initially, they weren't going to allow it but they got so much backlash for it that they went back on it a few months ago. Massive W from YTTV. I'm sharing it with one of my buddies here in KY, so only gonna cost us like 150 a piece. Not bad at all.
I wish they got MSG because I'm a huge Rangers fan (hockey). That's the only reason I went with FUBO TV.
To get ready for the season... I got a new tv and signed up for YouTube TV & Sunday Ticket. I was worried about picture quality vs. DirecTV but it's negligible for the most part... though that might change during high traffic on game day. Still have DirecTV but not for long... Still getting used to the user interface and the integration of the various apps... but I'm impressed so far. Anybody interested in a satellite dish and 20' of antennae tower?
You should see the tower I had to erect just for the dish to be able to "see" the satellite. Now I have to take the whole thing down... My neighbors will be happy though.
Man this sounds like WAY more expensive than it was on DIRECTV…I have been buying it on DIRECTV since the day it came out, and I want to say it was somewhere like $180 for the year on DIRECTV…so yeah, at least I have a couple of kids in college still so not terrible that way but man this is a freaking crazy price point compared to what it was
