So the bar would be favoring the Jets to win so they don't have to pay the bar bill for a bunch of buffalo buttheads?
That's all in the past now, buddy. Aaron Rodgers is on the Christmas card list of every head official.
More fine print: "Deal is not valid during Packers games" I think that makes it valid only four or five times during the season.
Probably a little more than that. The Jets are on primetime 5 times and none of those games are against GB. GB will also be on primetime. Haven't checked to see if they have any differences on Sunday's with 1:00 vs 4:05, 4:25 start.
It's a calculated bet on the part of the bar owner. He already knows the Jets are going to win a lot of games. I think it's genius on his part. Check this out: The Jets have a ton of primetime appearances. That means MORE business for him. GB fans are also football fans. They would normally go to the bar to watch a match up of two teams that didn't involve GB. Now throw in the fact that it's AARON RODGERS and that's all that much more incentive to watch the game. All those butt hurt GB fans are going to want to see AR fall on his face. So they'll be at those games in full force. Everybody not in NY HATES the Jets anyway. So even the GB crowd that doesn't want AR to fail still hates the Jets and they badly want to see the Jets lose. They'll be all over that bar buying beer, shots, Irish car bombs, etc. because they hate the Jets and they think they'll lose anyway. BOTH crowds will feed off each other. There will a river of spilled beer and hard liquor in that joint because: 1) They're having a good time 2) It's FREE or at least they think it's going to be. Honestly, I think that bar owner is an actual JETS fan and he figures he's going to make a pretty penny off a bunch of dumb cheese heads.
I was thinking about this, it seems like an attractive deal for Jets fans. Maybe it is worth the drive Go there and get liquored up at his bar during the game. If the Jets win you are happy. If the Jets lose, you got drunk for free. It is win win
Not all of the Jets games are listed. Mainly national games ....GB isn't playing during those times hence the fine print at the bottom. A public relations gimmick for attention and more customers....
I think they only listed 12 games (mainly late games and night games) so GB must play alot of early games this year......
