Seriously? Ok I'll bite. First off, there's a big difference in expectations from your starter and your back up. Second, he's obviously in a different place mentally this season plus having the opportunity to have AR mentor him makes a difference
i'll believe it when i SEE it and hope to god I wont see him play unless we are up by 30 in the 4th quarter.
The point is this: if AR goes down for 3 games, I feel like ZW can navigate this team to a win or 2. I'm not asking him to win the super bowl. But I feel at this point he could step in for a few weeks and the season wouldn't be ruined
what a difference getting a NY stream for a game. last week was a Carolina stream, what a bunch of homers.
As long as they don't ask Zach to be the hero, he'll be ok playing a conservative gameplan. Kid isn't ready for the hero role yet.
i disagree. A couple of preseason games is not enough to convince me he would be ok to play at all. I think we made a mistake not signing a veteran to be the 2nd stringer.
Actually I hope to see the Jets offense play from behind. Puts a bit more pressure on Hackett and whomever is taking snaps.
