Because he’s delusional and thinks we’re gonna bench Breece for him

Sweet justice would be the pats or fins picking him up and the Jets d line making mince meat out of him.

I'll risk a fumble vs a guy that will fall forward for 3 yards.

With our OL situation Dalvin Cook no longer makes any sense. We are loaded at RB. Leave the cap for an OL move, really silly at this point to focus on Cook. Hell, I would have even preferred we signed Kwon over Cook.

One year deal, don’t care about the money at all but I’m sure people are going to lose their minds over it.

It was this week or never to me. Guys need a full camp, but I’ll settle for three weeks. Good signing given the window.

I’d have to imagine Bam is toast unfortunately. Similar running style to Cook, and Carter is the better receiver (albeit not explosive). I personally would’ve liked to have keep Bam over Carter, but we’d effectively not have a 3rd down back in that scenario.

Smart to wait until the Pats signed Zeke so if we cut Bam, they can't sign him lol. Good move. I think our 5th rd RB is as good as Bam if not better anyway.

People are going to go crazy over 8.6, but don't understand what "up to" means. This is probably going to be like $5m base

If Jets fans care about the money for a one year deal, they’d actively like to make Woody more profitable. We’re plenty under the cap, the money is irrelevant.

If we didn’t spend the $8.6 million, Woody would just get an extra two golden toilets this year in his house.

$7 mil base according to PFT. But again who gives a shit? It’s a one year deal and we are all in. Aaron Rodgers took less money so that we could spend it on top tier players. This was the only one left and we got him.

Totally agree yet the Michael Nania’s of the world are whining on Twitter already about the “value”.

They still have almost $9 million to make a splash at the deadline if they want it. Mike Evans I'm looking at you.

Our defense seems legit. We need all offensive playmakers we can get our hands on. CHAMPIONSHIP move. Wish @FJF was here to use this term turly for the first time.

I'd prefer the young trio already here.
I suspect Bam's almost fumble Saturday, may've led to this, although Cook has issues too.
To me, a needless waste of money, unless Breece isn't as ready as they've been saying.
