Aaron Rodgers floats up a ball fading away from the pressure to Tyler Conklin who had to go up and high point that ball in double coverage He brought it in for the 1st down but Quincy Williams fell hard and is shaken up #Jets

Aaron Rodgers threw up a high point pass to Corey Davis and he GOT UP to reel that one in What a grab from Davis #Jets

In the 30 sec drive the field drill Rodgers throws a pass within .1 seconds of receiving the snap and finds Hardman for a nice gain to set up Greg the Leg for a 43 Yard FG that he nails #Jets

Zach Wilson JUST missed Jason Brownlee for a BOMB

Zach Wilson throws a perfectly thrown ball down the field to Jason Brownlee for a huge gain 30 sec drive the field drill with Zach in at QB

18 sec left at the 31 yard line Hand off to Izzy to pick up 6 yards Zach organized a hurry up to spike the ball before the clock hit 0 to set up a FG Executed perfectly #Jets

 

Sabo:
Quincy is down but appears like the wind. Tough fall, hard angle to where Rodgers led Conklin (reception), Q and DJ both there, collision near ground. He appears ok but will keep an eye on. #Jets AR then hits CD for a nice 12-14 yd completion. Decent break on ball by Whitehead, but quicker throw. Definitely in hurry-up situation, AR then hits MH extremely quickly off the line (Mosley nearest guy), looking to set up GW FG. Zeurlein hits it from about 45-48 away (not sure).

Hurry-up with second team: Zach Wilson just misses Brownlee deep; 1v1, not a bad throw, safe, just a little long, perhaps not enough air. Then, a nice ZW throw, anticipation, air under it, led Brownlee to a spot, middle of field, nice/semi-dangerous throw, but I want to see ZW take those shots with confidence. #Jets

 

Faria:
Two acrobatic catches from Corey Davis and Conklin have the #Jets in fg range for this drill.

First-Team offense does its job by getting into FG range for this drill. Greg “The Leg” nails the kick #Jets

Sauce Gardner just picked off Aaron Rodgers — it was a great play and not as great of a pass — and then ran it back. Sauce having a fantastic camp. #Jets

It was a stellar day for Aaron Rodgers — until the end of practice. He completed his first eight passes in a row in 11 on 11 and was 11/12 before a Lazard drop. Then there was the Sauce Gardner interception to end practice. Sauce came out of nowhere at the goal line and ran it back 100 yards for a TD. Luckily for Rodgers, he won’t have to face Sauce every week. Otherwise he was dealing. Overall I had Rodgers completing 14 of 19 passes in 11 on 11 and 4 of 7 in 7 on 7. #Jets

 

Sabo:
Sauce Gardner ends practice in style, as the fans go wild. Red zone rep, Aaron Rodgers looks for Corey Davis in the end zone, INT by Sauce. #Jets Why so special? Sauce was not covering CD. Whether it was zone or man (not too important), Sauce played it by peeling off his area and robbing AR underneath the play. AR never even considered him to be a part of the play. And, when it comes to the average CB, he wouldn’t be a threat. Not Sauce.

Robert Saleh says Carl Lawson is dealing with a back. Laken and Quincy’s injuries aren’t considered serious. JJ could have went back in but #Jets held him back.

Carl Lawson has some back tightness which is why he was out today. Robert Saleh said that Quincy Williams and Laken Tomlinson should be ok after leaving practice. Jermaine Johnson could’ve returned but they didn’t feel the need to rush him back in. #Jets

One more injury note: Bryce Hall has a minor hamstring injury, per Saleh. #Jets

Good development for #Jets. Saleh didn’t consider Tippmann realistic option to start last week (wants starting five in place after Panthers game). Potentially a late surge from the rookie

Saleh said injuries to Quincy W, Tomlinson and Johnson are not serious. Bryce Hall has a hamstring injury.

Some takeaways from #Jets camp:

- Aaron Rodgers remains unstoppable in the intermediate/short areas of the field. I’ll keep saying it but he’s a master at those quick passes right after the snap. Tyler Conklin and Mecole Hardman are frequent targets on those. Separately, he made some nice throws to Corey Davis too, who has had a sneaky good camp.

- Zach Wilson had a really good day. I believe he had one bad throw in 11 on 11. Completed his first six passes in a row. Finished 9 of 12, and one was a spike during a move the ball period.

- Mekhi Becton was a full go today and I thought he played pretty well on the reps I watched at LT for Wilson.

- Bryce Huff played as much as he did in the Browns game because “they needed somebody to play,” Saleh said. They didn’t have enough DEs available to not play him. Said in a perfect world none of their top DEs would’ve played bc they all have important roles in this defense, including Huff. Huff has had a stellar camp. He had another sack today.

- Saleh said Joe Tippmann “had a really strong” game against the Browns upon further review. Said he was a “pleasant surprise.” I think the Panthers week will be big for him pushing for the top backup center job behind McGovern.

- Hardman said there’s still a lot of work to be done with him and Rodgers even as it seems like their chemistry is growing. Said they’re good in the short/intermediate area but “we gotta get the deep balls a little better.” Hardman said it can be “tricky” with Rodgers at QB sometimes because you always gotta be on alert and he’ll throw you open quickly after the snap whether you’re ready or not. Hardman also said he’s still figuring out Rodgers’ hand signals because sometimes Rodgers will show up to practice and change the signal to keep everyone paying attention.

- I think Nick Bawden is going to make the 53. He was targeted three times today and has been very involved in the offense during training camp, with both Rodgers and Wilson.

- Jason Brownlee had a couple of nice receptions where he boxed out the defender. Had a bumpy preseason game but still looking like the best option if they keep six WRs.
