Sean Payton took some subtle shots at the Jets. Week 5 matchup at Mile High just got a bit more interesting. https://jetsxfactor.com/2023/07/27/ny-jets-sean-payton-shots-downfall/amp/
Payton's a clown. Of course he's going to say that about a guy whose job he's taking over. What a dick. Broncos going nowhere.
yah kinda dickish…but if it makes AR and Hackett and Saleh pissed and we roll up on them when we play, then it’ll have been worth it
The attacks on Hackett are anything but subtle; they might very well be warranted, but they're anything but subtle. The actual comments about the Jets are moronic, as is explained very well in the piece. Payton of course has to talk up his team, and convince them that last season didn't really happen. I think that it's much more likely that he's already realized that Wilson is no Drew Brees, and he is desperately trying to help him improve by stroking his ego, than that he thinks that last season had nothing to do with the players themselves.
Always thought he was overrated. Not saying he is a bad coach, but he had a HOF QB his entire career. Made and won one SB, which is great, but is that really an overachievement when you have a HOFer QB for 15 years? Yet he is viewed as if he is Bill Parcells. Not even close.
Thank you, Sean, for getting the excitement for the season started early. The Jets at their highest potential is leap and bounds better than the Broncos, and he just ensured the team will play to its highest potential for at least one game.
Who cares, he took a shot at a guy, the entire league was shitting on, and I'm sure by the end of the 1st quarter, this entire fanbase will be doing the same.
And of course, Hurricane Katrina had nothing to do with the Saints being awarded a Super Bowl trophy.
