I don't buy that Hard Knocks is so terrible for a football team. They've had the 1 Jets Drive camera crew in their kissers the last few seasons. There's constantly a barrage of media following the team. Heck, the Lions won 8 games after their appearance on Hard Knocks last year. A lifetime of Jets dues paid in full, time to cash in the marker in 2023. Go Jets.
I for one am thrilled. I really enjoy bts stuff and I honestly think the distraction things is much ado about nothing. We live in a social media world. These guys should be pro at quote, unquote distractions. If this season ends up a dud it ain’t gonna be because they had some cameras following them around.
Big fan of this. NFL Films production value is second to none and even if the Jets play hardball, which I fully expected them to do and selfishly want them to do just to make some peoples lives miserable that have made my life miserable, they will get tremendous access and put out a top-notch product. Like I’ve said 1 million times in here before I don’t buy the distraction bullshit at all. If we make the playoffs and hopefully go even further, we need to be on Hard Knocks yearly.

Personally I’m NOT a fan of this Hard Knocks…I think it does impact how people act and what they say and do when they know they’re on camera… I think it’s BS that we did it what in 2010, and have to do it again while other teams have never done it? I don’t like it!

Not everyone wants it to be the Jets; particularly the Jets. Florio asked the question a few days ago that has still not been answered - if it's going to be the Jets, why not just announce it? It's already much later than the announcement in any other year and the Jets are starting training camp in less than a week. A whole flock of people made announcements yesterday that it was officially the Jets, all with the caveat that it was "reported" or unnamed "sources" told them. Where is the real announcement from the NFL, HBO or the Jets themselves and why is it taking so long? Where are the guys who used to hide under bushes to see who was going in and out of the training center? Surely if production crews will be around in a few days hotel rooms are booked - get those Columbos out from under the bushes and find out where they're staying!
