I'm going to see the Struts at the Rooftop at Pier 17 in a couple of weeks. Just discovered them about 6 weeks ago and I really love their music. The singer has a real Freddie Mercury vibe going. Should be an excellent show.

I also got tickets to see Tool I'm November. Beyond excited for that one.

    Yup, me too.

Enjoy the moment, enjoy the music, enjoy the performance, enjoy the show.

Let some other fool miss all these things by having the urge to record it.

Enjoy their clips when they post them online - you had the moment, they were too bothered about themselves in the moment.

When I usually record I don't really look at the phone. I hold it a general direction and hope for the best. That said, I usually record at least one song from each show I go to. That way I can relive the moment. YMMV.

Done the same but can't say I've ever gone back once I've watched them once so decided there's no point recording them in the first place. Decided to enjoy the show without such interruptions.

Each to their own though - everybody is different as to how they enjoy and remember moments of their lives

So on the woman of the house birthday, simple plan, sum 41, and the offspring will be in Milwaukee, so we decided to go. It's a 2 hour drive but would be a great birthday present, and we enjoy that kind of music.

got tix for Stephen Marley at the "Backyard stage".... pretty sure there will be a mushroom cloud over that one. May have to ride my bike ;)

John Fogerty is playing on my birthday... CCR was fucking awesome, but I'm on the fence about going, as I'm afraid I'll leave disappointed...

Taking my daughters to see Metallica August 4th. It will be their first show.

Anyone know when gates open if the ticket says 6pm showtime? I have not been to the new stadium. (Not really new anymore but anyway)

Saw Govt Mule last night do a set of Pink Floyd covers. Jason Bonham's band opened with an hour of classic LZ hits. Pretty badass all around.

Probably od'd on classic rock for the next three years.

I'm not the biggest zeppelin guy, but you really have to admire Warren Haynes for being so confident in his own stuff to tour with an opening act that does an hour of classic rock hits. And he did not disappoint. At all.
