It would be really nice if he would commit to being with the Jets for 2 years today but I'm sure he'll say something like, "well, I'm just gonna take it year by year and see how it goes".
Don't be surprised if he commits to at least 2 years or maybe more until he wins a championship. Today's presser will tell a lot. His body language, his answers. I really can't wait. Too bad I have a full day at the office today but as soon as I arrive home, I hope to watch the whole thing.
Hughes has been pushing this new contract for almost 48 hours that will show at least 2 years of play time with us so I'm sure we will see shortly. I'll bet he's here for 2 years.
I hope both of you are right! I've got a 1 o'clock meeting that is scheduled to take an hour, hoping it runs shorter so I can get back to my office, close the door, and throw my earbuds in lol
I work 3 days from home, not today. The 2 days I'm in the office I sit directly next to a huge TV that I control, but today I'm working from another building all afternoon. Just telling myself that it's going to be generic canned answers but hopefully we get something of value in terms of a multi year commitment.
Sure, it would be awesome to hear Rodgers commit to a couple of years or more. But, after all the photo shopped images of Aaron Rodgers in Jets green to finally see him up at the podium donning a New York Jets cap - Priceless.
Reporter question. Do you see this as more than a 1 year thing right now? "right now I'm just gonna focus on this season, I'm excited about being here, I expect to be here for the duration of the offseason"
I have a pretty good TV, but is it me, or did they change the shade of green on the uniform? Looks more like the Jacksonville color than the Jets color. BTW, was impressed by Rodgers today. Looks like happy days ahead for the NY Jets.
