    Outstanding deal for the Bears.

They get two extra high picks this season and they have two extra next year when they may want to maneuver for a QB in the draft. They also got Justin Fields a good WR to help him continue to develop and they might not be done trading yet.

Since the NFL at large does not love any of the QB's the odds are very good the Panthers just screwed themselves bigtime.

The Panthers organization is a dumpster fire.

QB's at the top of the draft are dumb unless everybody wants them.

2nd QB in the top 5 is dumb no matter what.

3rd QB in the top 10 is basically insane.

4th QB in first round is a loser move.

However picking a QB on the 32-36 seems to work out 50/50 or so.

Life is just strange and Maff is very hard.

This whole thing is crazy. Maybe JD can trade them Zach while he has a chance....

Everyone needs to remember that the Panthers GM, Scott Fitterer, is the same guy who gave the Jets a sixth, a second and a fourth for...Sam Darnold.

If the QB hits no one remembers what the picks were. Who cares.

These picks may have helped though

The QB doesn't hit often enough to justify 4 high picks and a plus player.

Making a big deal for a Trevor Lawrence or Eli Manning is one thing but making a big deal for a guy you like is playing with fire.

I guess they feel they have a good enough nucleus to make a deal like this. I think it’s pretty awful for the Panthers.

It's a disasterous move. It's not like they traded up to take Trevor Lawrence.

As bad as the Jets management has been at times, it's never reached this level of ineptitude. This is off the charts bad.

I don't know, I seem to remember giving up pick 6 plus 3 seconds for Darnold, or not taking 3 firsts and a 3rd to roll the dice on a QB who had proven next to nothing in college.

The Panthers had the same record as the Jets last year. I'd say were pretty evenly matched boneheads the last decade.
