Well, it better be coming down to the delay in working out trade compensation and contract restructuring for Aaron Rodgers now. (but I think will be staying in GB anyway)
Whatever it is, the Packers price tag just got a little steeper (that is, unless this is already done, and Carr was a domino). Otherwise, Jets beings Jets.
The negotiations better have been finalized, just not announced or this is a BAD look.... and screams Woody getting involved (or JD being played like a tool)
I don't know how this will play out, but I can't see the Jets running it back with White/Wilson next season. That would be an epic fail on JD.
The Jets are going to get screwed as always. Personally, I think that Rodgers is Favre 2.0 and a pretty bad move overall (at least Favre cost only a 3rd round pick). Carr would give us 4-5 years, while Rodgers is 1-2 years and he's not even sure whether he wants to play to begin with.
I would be shocked if the Jets let Carr walk while knowing the GM and HC both on the hotseat unless they had Rodgers in their lap. Douglas and Saleh aren't going to go into the season on the hotseat with jacoby brisket as their starter. The report from Cimini earlier has me believing the Rodgers shit has got to be almost done.
Anybody else feel like this is going to end badly for the Jets? Jacoby Brissett..........come on down!!!
