He seems like a good kid and a tough player...could see the bears trying to sell high right now based on "potential" and some flashes. He had some moments but so did Tebow....Feels like he's likely to struggle now that teams have film on him and they're going to want a lot for him. meh
In all seriousness, he doesn’t seem as well built as hurts, but if he can take a page out of his book, it would be tough to take him down. He would do really well on a run first team with the RPO options. Would also be really complicated unless Zach is cut or traded.
Zero chance this will happen for us, considering the whiff on Zach Wilson, In the same draft. I think this Is likely non-sense though In general. Justin Fields has so much potential and the Bears trading him for Bryce Young would be stupidity. IMO
If they do though, it would be really dumb to not make an offer. I think though that the bears need to make it look like they want all the QBs to raise the price.
I honestly think this is a smokescreen to drive up the price for the #1 pick. Make someone think they might actually take a QB there and that price goes wayyyy up. ‘Tis smokescreen season everyone, just remember that.
Fields averages 10 completions a game and relies primarily on his running skills. Fields is a one-look-and-dash quarterback. Nope
He's not worth our 1st and a 3rd. That's just insane. Right now he reminds me of Hurts without the passing ability.
Hurts was not great his second year either and he had way more weapons. When they got AJ brown his game really elevated. You also said you wouldn’t trade ANYTHING for him.
