who cares what Steve young thinks lol I know you are joking but really who? All he does is stick up for his fellow Mormon boy
For sure Young's take on Wilson for the Michael Kay show should concern everyone. He "needs a big brother." .... "who believes in him"..... cringeworthy
yeah Young did say those things. Apparently Mike LaFleur was too hard on Zach Wilson with his quote “tough love” I don’t have the link handy but you can Google Steve Young Michael Kay interview. It’s so pathetic
That's backwards. The only plan that matters is the plan for the Jets to be consistent winners. The only one who can give Wilson a chance to win any competition is Wilson himself. If the Jets are moving up and Wilson is along for the ride, that's just a bonus.
I would take Ryan T if all other options aren’t available like Carr, Lamar Jackson etc he can hold the fort until we find someone else or ZW wakes up
It really amazes me how Jets fans can watch this team circle the drain every year with the WORST quarterbacking in the entire league... and then turn their noses up at a really solid guy. We've tried finding 'Mr Right', and we keep striking out spectacularly. How about making do with 'Mr Right Now' while we continue our search via the draft? I would be pleased to get Tannehill.
Tannehill will be 35 in July. Might be a decent option for 2-3 years, but his mobility has got to be declining rapidly.
Yes, he taught me he was a HORRIBLE coach and he proved it when Tannehill left him and almost became MVP of the league his very next year with Tennessee. WIth Tannehill, it's all about how you use him and what talent you have. Jets have the offensive talent that would be good a fit. Need to add more TE presence though a la TN and this offense would be fantastic. Back to Gase- Tannehill is one of the most accurate passers in NFL and maybe the best throwing on the run. So Miami ran almost NO play action and had him constantly dumping off screen passes or 4 yd routes. Gase was an idiot. Oh, and he didnt provide T-hill with a line. Couldnt believe it when the Jets actually hired this guy.
I have more faith in tannehill than cousins. That said i don't know where 7 years comes from, I'd guess four left. He'd bring some consistency and help us get into the playoffs. I would probably prefer Carr. But ultimately i would like a better vet or long term solution
Not the worst option, but why is he mentioned, are there reports of him moving on? Keeping him for another year seems like a decent move for the Titans.
At least his wife is hot, he holds on to the ball too long and has horrible pocket awareness. He would suck behind our o-line
