Regarding this Jets season, no matter what happens in the final 2 games, I'll be thankful for these memories:
What 'evidence' could there possibly be? Who knows what was going on inside Joe's head. And Chris Simms on PFT had ZW the top QB pick.
I'm very disappointed. It shouldn't have come to this. If the CS didn't insist on starting Zach we could have win a lot more games. Zach PERSONALLY cost us 3 games....
Want to wish everyone a good year and know I forgive everyone for all the shit compiled in 2022 and I'm clearing my ignore list. Let's all start out 2023 with good fellowship and a clean slate. It should last until at least Wednesday lol.
We’ve sort of touched on this at various points in the season, but now that we’re looking at a potential 0-6 finish, it’s funny to think about a lot of people’s initial thoughts on the schedule before the season started. We were supposed to start 0-6 with brutal games against the AFC North, Packers, and Broncos… and then have hope for the ‘easy’ stretch run against Detroit, Jacksonville, and Seattle. The NFL is weird, but always the same old Jets.
a little shout out to GW for that 4th down drop down 17-6 with ~430 to play in 2nd Q. thats a HUGE fail right there. likely a very makeable FGA with that catch at the least. new set of downs w/in the opp 30 yd line. fucking pukeworthy
That wasn't as easy a catch as you make it seem--IMO the throw was sailing away from him and he only got his right hand onto it and it was coming in hot. The drop by our $14mm man 2 games ago was disgraceful. There's plenty to blame but focusing on Garrett is surprising to me but I get it. It feels like we have to play perfectly to win a damn game which is f'in ridiculous. A 5-yd illegal procedure penalty kills us most of the time.
If someone told me we'd win at least 7 before the season started, I would've taken it. But knowing how most of the wins were in October and November makes it quite disappointing.
