Geno Smith is gonna torch us. Hah, anyone remember years ago when the Jets played Seattle when Brett Pevre was here? Playoff implications.

Pervre was hurt blah blah, yeah, well, screw that, I could've won that game with my fckn foot. It was that brutal. The New York Post headline the next day: 'SNOW JOKE THE JETS BLOW IT'. I think I just grunted.

Simple rooting guide for this week in order of importance.
    • Jets over Seahawks (self-explanatory)
    • Phins over Pats (Pats loss makes Week 18 a win-and-in scenario)
    • Chiefs over Broncos (makes the Bills Week 18 game a must-win for Buffalo to secure home-field advantage)
    • Bills over Bengals (have to keep pace with the Chiefs atop the AFC, Bills do have the head-to-head tie-breaker against the Chiefs so they could still lose this week and get home-field but it's better for us if they win out)
Our playoff hopes essentially come down to the top 2 games. The Chiefs and Bills games become irrelevant if the top 2 scenarios play out.

By kickoff of our game (4pm), barring OT, we should know the outcome of both the Phins/Pats and Chiefs/Broncos games as they kick off at 1.

Oh, God, the worst. My eyes were bloodshot when I woke up in the morning because I had been screaming so much. Pevre, you can't make it up how typical it all was.

    Teddy Bridgewater is no slouch.
Dolphins may have better chance with him, the way Tua has played the last month.

Disagree. Tua has been terrible. Dolphins have a better chance with Teddy, IMO.

    Go Teddy Go!

    I didn't even realize that.

If Ravens win then Bengals-Ravens will be for the division/wildcard the last week of the season.

Week 18 might be crazy. May have 3 playoff games:

    Lions-Packers
    Jets-Dolphins
    Titans-Jaguars

    and division title game:

    Ravens-Steelers

One of my most furious moments as a Jets fan. We took the opening kickoff in that game and moved down the field like a hot knife through butter. In no time we were inside their 10 yard line and then we complete a pass on third down but we're tackled on the 2 yard line. 4th and 1 from the fucking 2 yard line. 5 plays to pick up 2 yards and score. Worst case, you get stopped and give the ball to all time great Seneca Wallace with his ass touching the goal line. But WAIT ... the camera pans over to Mangini on the side line and I clearly see him mouthing the words "field goal". My head almost exploded. That was the exact moment I knew I wanted him fired.

I think this is the only shot we have at a flexed game SNF win and in. Obviously us winning goes without saying —

    - pats L
    - Washington win means GB / DET need Wash loss week 18
    - Minnesota win (doesn’t matter if wash wins)
    - ravens Loss + Cinci win week 17 clinched division

The scenario above makes the only true win and in games these two:
    Jets v Miami
    Jags v titans

Every other game requires some type of help

That Seattle game was truly disgusting especially considering who the Seahawks were playing at QB and their overall roster.

I’ve never understood Jets fans anger with Favre that season though. Yeah he played hurt and he played poorly and all but it’s not like Kellen Clemens was taking us to the promise land. I’d rather have a hurt Favre than that bum.

He was dishonest about how hurt he actually was and was more interested in some warrior bullshit and sending dick pics to Jenn Sterger. He should have been pulled in that game. The only QB showing worse than that was when Chad Pennington's arm was literally hanging on by a thread vs Miami. He had a 19.73% passer rating.

Don't ask me how I remember that exact number but I know I'm a 100% correct (it's a coma brain thing). The difference between Lord Pennington and Pevre is that I loved Pennington. I still do. His career was just cursed and we were all cursed by extension.

There was all this nonsense that Brett Pevre came home and Brett Pevre was where he should have been all along blah blah. He had that Wild passing game against the Chargers and at the end of the season that and a handful of pennies couldn't get me on the subway.

I just wanted to add that the Jenn Sterger experiment was an abysmal failure. She sucked, and she got booed every time she opened her mouth, hahahaha. "Go back to Scores!" Not that anyone in my tailgate ever yelled that out or anything *caugh caugh*.

We were 3-2 at the time. Thank God polls don’t determine winners.

Good point. There’s no way they can put titans jags right? No one is interested in that, especially the titans side of it.
