Win and jets score 24+ Seahawks were atrocious vs a mediocre chiefs defense last week. Hopefully lockett doesn’t play again.
Detroit was facing must-win against us. Jax was facing must-win. Seattle must win. Miami will need to win. Four straight teams desperately clinging to post-season dreams.
I felt very uneasy about Detroit and very pessimistic about Jaguars. Just knew we were going to bomb that TNF game all season. For some strange reason, no logic behind and I most certainly lean to the dark side, but I really think this team is going to make the playoffs. I think the Oline surges things up and Mike White’s presence opens up the run game a little better than it’s been. I am not sayin a blow out but I think the Jets win comfortably and convincingly on Sunday. We have won in Pittsburgh, Green Bay and Denver this year. Why not add another difficult place Seattle to the list. Last time we won a game in Seattle was 1997?
I think the OL has its best game of the year on Sunday. Benton better have these guys ready to play or his ass needs to walk the plank after the season as I'm pretty sure he's not the last guy on earth that can coach zone blocking.
I was done with the team after Thursday Night. Then everything fell their way to give them a playoff chance. No way they would blow it against Geno Smith, right? Right?!?!? I can't handle that! The Jets defense needs to return to form this week. Them playing at the level they should can turn the game to the Jets favor even without a huge game from Mike White. Big game for Robert Saleh too. He looked like he lost the team against Jacksonville. This game will give us a better read on the team and if they still believe in him.
The Hawks have been in a worse spiral than us. Geno has regressed and Locket has a broken bone in his hand. They've only beat one team with a winning record all year. If we play to our potential it should be a very winnable game.
That's the problem. You can say the same about the Vikings, Lions, and Jaguars games too. It's not about the opponent right now. The team needs to step up. Offense. Defense. Special Teams. Coaching. All of it.
I don't know why Saleh announced our starter so early in the week. Anyway... if MLF is smart... we'll use the pass to open up the run. I expect to see White run the offense rhythmically & efficiently. There's no reason we can't win these next two games... especially if they shut down Tua.
I feel good about our chances if we can keep the offense on the field for long drawn out drives. No come from behind miracle. Lots of talk about this team playing harder for White, a premise I don’t necessarily agree with, but by God please team prove me dead ass wrong and give us a total team A effort from the CS on down
Just too funny the Jets vs the Ex Jets dumb as rocks Geno and hard luck Pete Carrol Gut says we are due for a couple of wins down the stretch and the guys will fight hard for their hero MW
