The talking heads talking about the coaching are half-right. The part of the coaching that has been remiss is actually letting ZW on the field after he had proven he couldn't handle it. When you have a half dozen games in the record where he was just completely unprepared to play, that's on the coaching staff. The other 16 starts where he looked somewhere between below average and average? That's what you expect out of a player not good enough to play QB in the NFL. But the blowouts are on the coaching staff because they got to look at the other 16 starts also and they should have known. Just to elaborate a bit: the players have known ZW didn't make the grade for more than a year now. Why did it take so long for the coaches to catch up? Saleh has a locker room that does not trust him right now. They may not have moved to active dislike yet but players hate to lose for correctable reasons and ZW has been an unforced loss in too many games in his career.
I don't know which game was worse for Wilson Ne or Jacksonville, he had a 5.2 Qbr rating and longest completion of 7 yards vs Jacksonville. He got bested by a practice Squad guy. If Zack Wilson ever takes another snap as a Jet heads should roll.
well if you were at the game then you may not have been able to see Garret let up some up some routes, didn’t go out of bounds to stop the clock at one of the last possessions when tried to plow the player over. And didn’t hold the ball firmly when the opposing player kicked the ball out. He also had a false start before the half like he wasn’t focus. He sulked few times out. He is a great player no doubt. But there will be games like this, there will be times when he needs to put his head up. Shrev consoled him when GW lost the fumble and was nice to see. That was the worst game I saw of him.
The end for me was the Patriots game where we got two yards in the second half. The signs of Zach being a bad quarterback have been there all along.. It doesn't take much to see that he's complete garbage. I would be very happy if he never takes another snap for this team again. That being said we are the Jets so I wouldn't be surprised to see him start the last two games.
I saw this somewhere else and it rings true with Zach... The game is too fast for him, much like women his own age. That's why he likes the cougars. More his speed.
N I never wanted Fields either he will not be good…great athlete but not a great QB didn’t like ZW after one good year against Covid competition but I was willing to give him a fair shake but we’ve seen enough…let’s not waste another year on this shit… o good QB would ever have so many games like last night and that’s the fucking normal for Zach enough
He won a playoff game and had a legitimately good year 2 years ago. Baker wasn't a great pick at #1, but he was and still is miles ahead of where wilson will ever be. He's not even in the top 20.
the whole losing the locker room is the silliest thing I see posters spew around here. The staff realized White had what it takes to put this team in a winning spot. He’s hurt though, Flacco is an immobile statue and Streveler is a PS QB who maybe a baby Taysom Hill at his best. Wilson unfortunately was this teams best chance to win, hopefully making plays downfield. He just shat the bed last night. It also hasn’t helped the run game has crapped the bed the last two games and the OL can’t block anyone right now.
