Go ahead and list the top three things we need to rise above mediocrity.
Keep it short, sweet and succinct.

    I'll go first...

    - Quarterback
    - Quarterback
    - Quarterback

You have to be more specific when you say QB, because this organization for the last 4 decades has got QBs, as well as they have one at the moment, so I'd be a little more specific as to what type of QB

Resign MW and replace Flacco with a competent veteran.

If you can get a stud in free agency you do it.

I would worry about OL, defense, and WR in the draft.

We may already have a good one on the roster. Improve the O-line, and things will probably get better. The thing is, good QBs don't grow on trees, and if you want one, you pay a premium. And what good QBs are hitting the open market this coming year that would be a sure improvement over White?

    1. Address the QB situation. And do so in a meaningful way, not go out and get a serviceable veteran who's on their last tour of duty so to speak to come in and give Zach a "competition". Meaningfully addressing the position would, in my estimation, require cutting bait with Wilson. Sign Mike White to a reasonable short-to-mid-term contract and bring in a veteran to compete with White. The day of giving the QB the job without a training camp battle should be over for the Jets. That's what you do when you actually have a QB, but we don't have one, and haven't had one for several decades, so there should be a competition for the job. We've seen what happens when rookies are just handed the job with no meaningful competition.

    2. Special teams must be addressed. Parting ways with Berrios, Mann, and coordinator Boyer are a must. This side of the ball has been abysmal all season long, especially the punt and punt return teams. The performance of those two units has been completely unacceptable all season and has played significant roles in two losses.

    3. Significant investment must be made in the offensive line. Douglas needs to be aggressive in both free agency and, especially, the draft, in order to get this unit headed in the right direction.

    OT
    C (possibly)
    LB
    WR

FA should be the usual depth signings but if any are big ticket should be QB

    1. Jets get sold to a hedge fund billionaire who keeps the team in the tristate area.

    Really there is no #2.

I don't think Mike White is the answer. He's better than Zach for sure, but he's nothing spectacular. And he gets hurt a lot.

It’s obvious that benching Wilson had a positive effect on him. Even if you don’t think he played well, he played significantly better than he has in the past for the most part.

For the right team and with a major jolt of luck he could be Kurt Warner. However I don't think we're that team and we'd never get the major jolt of luck.

The one thing that White is indisputably capable of is producing yards and yards after the catch in the passing game. He's one of the best marginal talents ever at doing that.

Warner started doing that at the age of *28* for the Rams in 1999. He did it because he had the right matchup as OC in Mike Martz. He had an amazing talent at RB in Marshall Faulk. He had Isaac Bruce and Torry Holt as his primary WR's. His OL had a generational talent at LT in Orlando Pace and everybody else did their part.

If you squint at the skill players the Jets have you could make a case for Breece Hall as a similar player to Faulk. You could make Garrett Wilson into Torry Holt. Missing another great talent to go opposite GW. The OL is just not there and probably more important Mike LaFleur is not Mike Martz-level and Saleh is still in diapers as opposed to Dick Vermeil who was old, wise and particularly smart enough not to get between Martz and Warner.

Oline. I think MW can be very good if protected properly. This oline is Swiss cheese so it’s hard to guage anything. I don’t think zack will ever be the guy

We also should have some pretty decent cap space next year. Cut Berrios, Lawson and Corey Davis and boom we suddenly have $40 million to work with.

Moseley has been great and I’m not sure if he’s cuttable but at $21 million, he would also need to go.

Im all in with you on the top paragraph. Those three guys are fucking brutal. Berrios is awful at everything he does, i cannot stand him anymore. He was the benefactor of being the only guy last year.

Im indifferent on Mosley. Some games he plays so well but on that 4th and inches TD today he got fucking lost. And then last week obviously.

You are fucking retarded. The ZW error is over, period. Don’t give a shit if he sucked a little less than usual. It should absolutely be over for him. If not, fire everyone.
