His time management on that last drive was very Kotite-like. We still have a time out as we speak...Maybe he thinks that he can carry it over to next week. Even if he could, wouldn't matter. The season is already over. Terrible.

The thing that's been the worst is the total organizational cloud over the QB and the offense.

We waited way too long to move to Mike White and then as soon as he got in the games the OC went pass-happy and predictably got him hurt in the process.

I was reminded of Herm - only because under Kotite we were rarely in a position to win. Herm's clock management was legendarily bad - to the point that the Jets hired a clock management coordinator for him. Bowles was notorious for burning timeouts early in halves because the team wasn't organized or because the proper personnel weren't on the field, and it always seemed to bite this team in the ass in the end.

This all said, Saleh's time management at the end was inexcusable. You have to call timeout with 40+ seconds left, in bounds, and with three timeouts in your pocket.

Bad coaching vs New England, Bad coaching Vs Minnesota, bad coaching vs Detroit, but according to Jet fans hes the next Don Shula because we haven't been .500 in so long. Fuck Saleh and Fuck this ownership as they keep bringing inexperienced no balls morons to coach this team. Can they get someone proven for once for fuck sakes?

Salah just said with 3 timeouts, time is never an issue.... WHAT? I guess it is not an issue until you run out of time and lose you fucking moron because you blew 25 seconds at midfield. I have lost all confidence in this clown.

Agreed. But Kotite was infamous for hiring a time management specialist!!

Ha! Really? I swear they did the same thing for Herm as well. Which, I guess in its own way speaks to how bad time management has been historically with this team.

Saleh is a lower-grade version of Herm. Seems like a nice and positive guy, but lacking in situational awareness

Yeah Just like Bringing in Mike White never crossed his mind when Zack had 2 yards in the 2nd half in the New England game, the guy is clueless and braindead, and .500 with this elite defense just does not cut it.

All gas no brakes, roughly translated = 1-4 after the bye and 0-3 in December. I actually think Saleh is decent, with exception of his loyalty to his offensive coordinator. The O- coordinator needs to go. Period. This team can't consistently move the ball nor score no matter who the starting QB is. Can't scheme for the talent we have and the matchups we're facing.

Herm's starting QB was healthy 3 years out of 5 and he made the playoffs every year that was the case. I get why people aren't overly fond of the job he did as Jet's HC but he was sounder in a lot of ways than most of the guys that have coached for us since Parcells left the organization.

Loyalty to Mlf, Loyalty to Zack, did him in this year. Mike White starts this year instead of Flacco and we have a competent coach/offensive coordinator we are cruising into the playoffs this year. Instead we may finish below .500 this year but hey we "improved" from the shitshow last year under this coach so its like winning the superbowl!!!!!

Herm did have a problem with clock management, as stated, but I think the thing that sticks in most Jets' fans craws about him is that he is best known around football fandom for his "YOU PLAY TO WIN THE GAME!"-screed, and what a lot of Jets fans remember him most for is doing just the opposite of that in the 2005 playoff game against the Steelers. He coached scared and not to lose, and a crushing loss is what resulted.

Fans can put up with a lot, but coaching/playing scared is too much to ask.

Saleh is 2 years sitting in the big chair. This is the price we paid for hiring a newbie. It really doesn't matter how long he was an assistant as being the Boss is a different job altogether. He's gonna fck up TO's like today. He's learning and we're gonna suffer until either he gets it right, or gets fired. Sometimes we get dealt a shitty hand but we still have to play it.

Were not dealt a shitty hand, we keep repeating the same mistakes all over again, Rex, Mangini,Bowles, Gase, Herm, all coaches with zero to little experience coaching, if you think a big time coach would not want to come coach this lights out defense and this wide receiver core right now your out of your mind, bet we can get Sean Peyton in here if we can only get rid of Saleh.

The entire reason why this clock management shitshow is even a factor is because you have a QB who cannot even be trusted to call a damn time out on his own without asking daddy for permission.
