    Studs

Mike White - IDK what to really say here, his toughness was ridiculous. to come back into that game after getting knocked out twice and notably being in pain. You know the team respects him. He made some pretty big throws too despite not much help outside of wilson around him

Wilson - 6 for 78 isn't necessarily stud worthy, but he made some great clutch catches to keep drives alive. He also broke the 25+ year old jets record for rookie receiving yards

Mims - really making the most of his chances. got more snaps when davis went out and made some good catches. did have a drop though but at this point it's expected of him every game

Q - was dominating the line. had 2 sacks despite playing half the game. now has 11 on the season. crossing the 10 sack mark as a DT is really good and he still has 4 games left

JJ - blocking the punt for a safety.

mosley - was a stud today, I know he had the penalty on 4th down where he took a guess and was wrong,b ut he had so many good guesses and made so many plays I can't hold it against him. he also made 2 huge stops on the 3 and out at the end of the game to give us a chance

Reed/Sauce - held allen and the passing game in check.

Knight - continues to impress as an UDFA rookie. should make a good RB2 to breece next year.

    Duds

Michael Carter - doesn't look the same as last year. not a good RB for bad weather because he relies on agility and quickness. That fumble at the end was killer

Berrios - has not looked good this year. Looked awful returning punts giving us poor position and then at the end of the game, pulled up and braced for a hit and let the ball hit him in the facemask.

Injury luck - Q left but thankfully just a calf. I'm sure most including myself thought it was season ending when they showed the replay. Davis was knocked out yet again. mike white knocked out twice. wilson would have came out for a play or 2 if not for a dumb buffalo challenge. fant also got knocked out and then came back.

MLF - didn't really call a good game. was too stubborn to stick to a run game that wasn't working. I'd be curious to see the numbers but I bet we run 95% on 1st down and of that 90% up the middle or off tackle. we are too predictable. the most frustrating though was the 4th quarter. clock was against us and we were still trying to run for 2 yards on 1st and 2nd down. I'd give some leeway with breece because he can break a big one but knight can't

flacco. came in for white and had a fumble, was 1 of 3. missed a wide open conklin up the seam and was overall just bad. I'd rather see streveler then flacco at this point

o-line - no holes in the run game and way to many QB pressures and hits allowed.

Mosely is a tough one.... played like a beast, but also had a crippling penalty. To be fair, his penalty was at least trying to make a play. doesnt deserve to be on either list imo

No way with Mosley. Stupidest penalty I've ever seen. Costly and gave the Bills momentum they never let up on.
He should be a dud based on that dumbass penalty alone.

Good list... with extra props for not making us wait till Tuesday.

I'd throw some shade on the O line if they weren't already beleaguered.

I take it you didn't see Kyle Turly rip off Damien Robinson's helmet and throw it like 30 seconds after the play was whistled dead....Or Isaiah Crowell's ass wipe celebration.

Wasn't it an illegal formation on the Mosley penalty?

That penalty hurt but down the stretch Mosley made two plays in particular that were truly impressive to make up for it. One in coverage and another when he made a key tackle on third down from his backside to save the game as it woulda been a first down

I am pretty sure it was offsides but I think they drew it up specifically to get Mosley because he's so good calling the offensive plays out.

MLF does not know how to call run plays. Your stats about first down and up the middle are probably pretty accurate for the entire season.

I really hope we move on after the season, but I doubt it.

I meant committed by a jet. The only thing it's comparable to is the Gastineau penalty in cleveland.

The Crowell wipe was committed by him while he was a member of the Jets. Against his old team, in Cleveland.

Well he was a passing game coordinator in SF. So makes sense. But it really doesn't matter. Jets can't make a serious playoff run with this OLine - even if we managed to make it in.

I wonder if there’s something injury wise or whatever with Michael Carter, because he stinks right now!

And as far as MLF, I cut him slack. Mainly because of the first part of what I said, the run game hasn’t been what I would call adequate.

Berriors had a nice driving grab, but he dropped what looked like a TD again. Really looks like he just caught lightning in a bottle last year. Also came a fraction of a centimeter from a punt. And am I nuts, or was he a bitch for taking a fair catch on the punt return that lead to our last possession of the game?

And speaking of bitches, and I know him listed him as a stud, but Mims seems so soft to me. Always seems to have a CB either knock away a pass or just flat out drops it once a game. And wasn’t he supposed to be fast? Sure don’t seem like it to me! I’m sure it’s not a perfect analogy, but older Jets fans will remember Justin McCareins as being Uber soft. Mims seems to remind me of him.

We're not a playoff team. But we are a success and we have a lot of good to look forward too,

That was immature stupidity. This was a game changing play by a vet in our first competitive year in forever which wasn't just a flinch at the line, but a guy straight flying over it when they were NEVER going to snap the ball.

    Flacco's performance was shocking.

He played like a drunk fan wearing a No. 19 jersey who got lost on his way to the men's room and somehow wandered out onto the field.

Agree Defense in general played very tough.
MLF definitely a dud- his offense sucks and generally looks out of rhythm no matter who plays QB. The route schemes suck and TBH only the rookie stardom of Hall (earlier in year) and Wilson have saved his offense from being even worse.
Carter and Berrios are reaches as starters. Both role players and both have shown this year that having to depend on them to win games is not going get the Jets to be contenders. Berrios is a ST and a 5th or 6th WR... Carter is a 3rd down back with fumbling problems who flashed a bit his rookie year in comparison to the practice squad RBs the Jets had. Prayers for a full Breece Hall recovery for next year.
White showed amazing toughness-- but also showed some vision problems and tendency to lock on a primary route in the passing game. I saw him miss an open Moore a couple of times and didn't look Moore's way/ see him.
Overall-- a second straight tough loss but this is about what I expected as "best case" going into the season with a questionable OL and so much youth. The youth has been better than I expected and the OL injuries have been a bit worse than I expected, and I did not think the Jets would be standing here with this record in December.

OL definitely needs to be a priority this offseason…need to get it fixed once and for all, but injuries did have a lot to do with it.

Truth, we finally have some really good weapons and a bottom 10 OL.
