Flacco still leads us in TD passes. Wouldn’t it be something if he still does at seasons end. That would have to be some kind of record if he doesn’t play another game this season. I don’t really get the hate. He was serviceable when he played. He hit open guys, sometimes in stride, and could see the field. Yea, he’s a statue back there. Zach’s not and look what that’s gotten us. I wouldn’t resign him. That would be a failure to address a position of need in the off-season. Right now he’s the best QB on the team until proven otherwise.
Trust me, I am not advocating that Streveler start or even suggest he is the answer. I just don’t get the “he’s gotten a shot and failed, pretty miserably” part. In 2 seasons in the NFL, his stat line is: 17 for 25 (68%),141 yards, 1 TD and 1 INT Nothing to write home about but certainly not failing miserably, now if his stat line was like Zach’s last week I would agree with you. I personally think he would have value as the back up to design some RPO short yardage packages with his running ability. Just make Flacco the Emergency 3rd QB.

Shouting for Streveler is a bit of fun, sort of a joke on the whole situation of Jets QB life, how do you not understand this?
Just another case of CFL bias.. Unless your name happens to be "Warren Moon", you're probably not gonna get a shot to play in the NFL.
