Seems like the coaching staff/organization would prefer Zach play the Jets out of playoff contention than bench him. An extremely irresponsible move which will eventually end up disrespecting alienating those who are busting their asses and contributing in a positive way.
Which is, quite literally, the other 52 players on the roster. This is a legitimate playoff team with dark horse Super Bowl potential with minimally competent QB play. The defense is that good, and they showed it today.
Zach was theleading rusher... not in the Fields/Lamar/Jalen mode... and we had 34 yds rushing outside of him. Sounds to me like the O line had a day to forget Odds of Zach being a buts going up again
well.. he made small improvement, the had the shit game vs Pats and an ok game v Bills... but yeah... odds of success getting longer
Zach deserves to be called out no doubt./ But NO ONE will mention tyhat the run game also played euqally as dogshit? thats just... weird.
This was an ugly game indeed if you were looking for offense. The Jet's defense had 6 sacks from 6 different players! One could see by the game's end that Zack had the look of a deer in headlights. The refs missed two calls that hurt the Jets. They missed the block in the back on the punt return TD. They also missed the contact to Wilson's head on a 3rd downplay. Today's weather showed that Zack Wilson is not well-suited playing in cold windy weather. He was lucky that several of his balls were not intercepted and his throws had no zip. Mac Jones has no pocket presence and that helped the Jet's defense to some additional sacks. One could argue the Pat's offense moved the ball better, but they could do nothing at all when they came near the red zone. Both QBs needed to be benched. I expected the Jets to win this game and I am shocked that their offense is actually worst than ours! I think it is safe to say that neither team deserved to win today and neither team will go far in the playoffs.
The OLine played like they were running in mud all day too. Extremely slow to get into their blocking assignments.
I hadnt reviewed much from that game... not suprised at all... just that I hadnt yet heard it is all.
I didn't hear about it either, though not surprising. Though honestly, every time I see them showing the plays, even in the huddle, I am thinking, if I can see it, wouldn't opposing team also see it? And there are many people that rid lips too. They can't be showing the plays on TV like that, total BS. Well, unless it gives Belichick an advantage.
Kraft is on the Rules Committee so they can get away with stuff like this. They are the dirtiest team in all of sports.
