My favorite was at the end of the game 3rd and 1 shotgun with a RB.

Saleh calls a timeout, MLF goes 3rd and 1 shotgun empty backfield.

Again tell me how he isn't a problem. Him and Zach and both putrid.

It's not an excuse. Yes Zach makes the offense look terrible, but he's not calling Carter to run up the gut and Robinson to do sweeps.

It's fucking mind boggling that he's not even using personnel the way he should. You have one of the worst QBs in the NFL, but your going into 3rd and short (sometimes two or less yards) in an empty backfield.

He's the worst O coordinator they've had in a long time.

I think I saw Robinson run up the gut twice all game. Both series ended up in first downs.

The Pats were never going to let the Jets pick up the first down on a run down the middle. It was either get stuffed or hope for once Zach wouldn't be terrible. And the play call was good too, Carter was wide open. But Zach didn't see him until he was no longer open.

ZW was very predictable and the Pats read his eyes. Almost 2 Ints…it’s not the end of the world. We re still alive in playoffs. Just that we have to win at least 4 games.

The guy has zero idea how to call plays on third and short. Like absolutely no flow for the game. I’m embarrassed for myself because I suggested he should be the HC when we struggled earlier in the year. He’s garbage.

Yeah if MLF comes back that will signal another year of these stupid play calls. It is tough watching a team that has some talent not being coached properly. I've seen every single way the Jets can blow games and coaching scared of the one that pisses me off the most. Did the coaches not properly prepare the team? If that is the issue then those coaches need to be fired tomorrow. It's painful watching the Jets.

I think Carter got past 5 yards once on a run up the gut, most of the others were minimal (1-2 yard) gains or losses.
you've said this I think in 3 different games and Zach completed 1 of 3 for a first down. On the other two, there was a WR that was OPEN for the first and if we had an NFL quality QB would've made that completion.
Empty backfield on 3rd /4th & short is also becoming quite the trend league wide. I see Rodgers, Carr, and others doing this all the time

yep, firing the OC is going to change our #2 overall QB to not overthrow multiple swing passes in a game

I like the OC. He's handcuffed right now.

I am constantly seeing WR open. Every game. All game long.

    ZW just misses them.

I want someone to break the whole game down and tell me nobody was helping ZW today. I call absolute BS.

It's also no coincidence that we actually have seen an efficient offense from all of our QB's In this system with the main exception being our FQB In, Zach Wilson.

    That's a problem.

This Is about as QB friendly a system as you can get.. Sucks.

Flacco and White go off? One game may be definitely not back to back. Flacco looked horrible earlier this year. I think Zach should sit next game and go with White.

Do we have the worst QB in the NFL, or near it, or are we calling an offensive system for a Rodgers or Carr level QB? We can't have it both ways.

Sure would like to try cause, I've seen enough of LaFleur garbage calls. Definition of insanity.

I really can't wait for the off-season when you hear about Wilson training with Jordan Palmer

Maybe Zach and LaFleur got money on these games. Wish we had a real owner like the late Al Davis. He would have called down from the booth to put another QB in there. His motto was Just Win Baby. The Jets motto is Just Lose as Badly As Possible.

I'm sorry, this might be one of the worst Jet takes I've seen on here for a long while. Whenever we've had a competent QB in the game, we look like an above average offense. He got Josh Johnson throwing TDs. Mike White having an NFL record breaking performance that ended with a HoF game ball. Flacco was leading the league (or was 2nd) in pass yards through the first few games of this year. We've also seen other Shanahan offenses have a ton of success, so there is something good with it.

You also would rather take an Adam Gase/Dowell Loggains offense over a MLF offense? Where exactly is John Morton? What about Jeremy Bates? That to me is an utterly laughable and deluded statement considering what type of offensive output we saw from most of those guys.
