    #26?
More of a commentary on the bad behavior of adults in general than of Jets fans.

There were two "ladies" that had season tickets a few rows back from ours at Shea.
They would scream out the stupidest obscenities at players... from both teams.

The legend was that if you looked them in the eye you'd turn to stone...

They just need to cancel the show, the actors have even picked it in with the shitty material they have to work with.

Not true my friend. Not sure if you have been going to games or not but Metlife tailgate crowd is not assholes as depicted here. Tons of opposing fans, come, enjoy the tailgate and the game. Maybe a few friendly jabs but nothing serious. I haven't seen a fight at Metlife for years now.

I hated this skit to be honest.

I remember how they get rid of the charcoal. Usually a melted tire involved

I don't know. This looks a bit too toned down for TV audience. This is the Jets fans I remember.

I don’t like this bc I feel as though it paints an inaccurate portrayal of Jets fans. Of course, there are a small minority of assholes who I’m sure act similar to that shown in the skit but for the most part Jets fans mind their own business and are kind to others at home games. They should have made the skit to portray Fans of other teams like the Eagles, Raiders, Patriots, Bills and I’m sure others but of course the media loves to shit on the Jets any chance they get

I saw a Pats fan throw a sieg heil salute at some jets fans on his way out of the stadium towards the end of the game. One of the guys ran after him into the tunnel and although I didn’t see anything beyond that, I did see a security guy run into the tunnel almost right after him. Guessing they weren’t having a friendly chat about it.

That wasn’t in the tailgate though. Tailgates that I’ve been too have been pretty chill. Some people probably aren’t drunk enough at that point to expose who they really are.

An unfair and inaccurate portrayal of Jet tailgate attendees.

Now if they had cast Patriot fans instead….

There was one funny joke in there, where they are all screaming at the Bills fans along with the cop, calling them assholes, etc, and then some kids come out in Bills jerseys. Everything else had pretty similar point, but much worse. Not enough for a 4 min skit IMO, but then again SNL hasn't been that funny in a long time.

Have you been to tailgate lately? I see none of this. But if it is not accurate, it doesn't need to be, I just wanted it to be funny. Aside from one joke, it missed the mark. So unfortunately no, lol it sure wasn't for me.

Weak. That wasn't even remotely amusing. Who do they have for writers on SNL these days, joe and jetophile?

I've been to many tailgates pro and college, and I've never seen this happen. I would have thought for sure in college especially with the "frat bros" mentality, but rival tailgaters for the most part get treated with respect and even are welcome to join in on some activities. Now, that's not to say that this has never happened ever. I can say in my lifetime I've been to over 60 tailgates, predominately in big cities, and never witness this behavior. I get the point of the sketch, but it wasn't funny, and I disliked looking at Amy Schumer's fat face in a ZW jersey.
