Thank you Mods for the edit. I've been thinking about it and was planning to message but, you beat me to it. I appreciate it. Go Jets!
Early on I was concerned but the last four weeks he seems to hit his stride... still needs to mature as a HC coach, as does the CS in general, but they seem to be on the right trajectory. hopefully he and his staff will continue to grow,,,, now lets kik NE ass.
You can see Saleh had a plan & he could see the talent on this team and that's when he made his famous receipt speech he knew it was coming and sure as hell it came what a turnaround. At the beginning of the season we felt and were talking about coaching staff hot seats.. no hot seats in jetland all the coaches are doing a great job and it's showing on game day. It feels so good to have stability in the front office and in the coaching staff. I can't imagine how good this team is going to be next year with another year in the system under its belt. But let's not talk next year this year is our year to shine and from what I expected we are a year ahead of schedule. I wasn't expecting playoffs aspirations this year, but we're on our way go Jets
There certainly have been poor choices in the past which is hopefully where they will remain, but Salah is JD's only Head Coach appointment for The Jets. He's batting .1000
He is better but not anointed yet. But he is not the weak link on this team staff. That is reserved for LaFleur. We are solid at GM but Saleh is coaching better this year. The defense is so much better. The Jets need to protect Zach better and call better plays to get him in a better flow. That can be accomplished with a better offensive line.
I would like to add the success of this team has to be Reed and Sauce. Reed is smacking receivers all over the field and Sauce is locking down the other guy. This is allowing the DL to get pressure on the QB. Michael Clemons has been playing great also.
Clemons did have that blocked punt that Will Parks took to the house against the Packers. But, agree he's such an imposing figure looking forward to see him level some quarterbacks in the coming weeks.
There are many aspects to being a good or great coach, but to me the biggie is that the team plays hard for the full 60 minutes and NEVER quits. Saleh has accomplished that with this squad.
Of course not. Saleh and JD are ours now. More of the fanbase needs to accept it. Neither one of them is going anywhere any time soon (unless they resign and go elsewhere. Otherwise we have our guys in place)
