They didn't throw it to Moore even once but he must've ran 200 yards in motion behind the line of scrimmage for the day. I'm not sure whats up with that read option play package they ran a lot where Moore goes down, back and arrrrrrround. It seems to me like it is playing 10 on 11 because you know he's not going to get the ball. The weird thing is that in the few instances where they did throw it to that guy they subbed Berrios in. Quite predictable but I wont criticize McFleur too much for the play calling because I loved sticking to the run like he did
I saw Elijah Moore laughing with Michael Carter after his TD, so that looks like progress. Being happy and supporting his teammates.
I honestly don’t care. Lol. Continue to put the work in and his time will come. Be a team player and if you gotta bust ya ass so Wilson can eat, do so. In due time they gonna start helping on Wilson so he’s gonna need to produce. He had most of the slot snaps so he just has to be patient.
Not using Moore was clever. We now have two weeks to prepare with Moore and the Patriots have no film to look at.
I’m going on record that Moore will have his come out game against the Pats. We will beat BB at his own game
There aren't that many yards to go around. We are a run first team. GW is always primary target, because he is the same type as Moore, but much better. Mims/Davis is a different type: good blockers, bigger target, which is needed as well. We also have big targets in capable TEs. Moore will get some targets, but generally speaking GW basically took over his job, and he is getting scraps. Maybe his agent saw it coming or maybe it was sort of self fulfilling prophecy, where him sitting out due to trade demand gave bigger opportunity to GW, and now they want to keep that way. Unless Jets open up the offense and have Zach throw for 250+ yards every game, GW and Davis/Mims will be ahead.
If GW is the primary read and BB will take it away, I could see Moore getting some. But then it is pretty hard to take away GW, and there are big targets like Mims, Davis, Conklin, Uzomah, who can catch the ball well and can block. I think Moore may be the odd man out unless GW gets hurt. And to be fair, Mims contributed more than Moore when he got his chance as well.
2020 2nd round = WR Mims 2021 2nd round = WR Moore 2022 1st round = WR Wilson What pisses me off is that those are 3 PREMIUM Draft picks & all we have to show for it is Wilson. We don't have the luxury of pissing away 2nd round draft picks. We should have traded him before the deadline.
davis will be back so moore will be a 3rd option at best. probably 4th if you consider a TE or RB depending on the play.
Mims played pretty well lately too, which helps cope with the loss of Moore production. We will need Moore if GW gets injured. But you are right, this offseason we will need to make some sort of move if there is no path for Moore to get the ball. Does anyone know if teams offered second round pick for him? I haven't really heard anything on that. It appears both GB and Chicago made a play for Claypool, who is a big bodied WR. Not sure if Moore was a target.
Yeah, they found out GWil was good by throwing to him. Makes you wonder if they should try throwing to Moore every now and then, just to see what happens.
