So I guess maybe the Mets weren’t the biggest postseason failures after all?

As much as I want to see the Padres lose I also want to see the playoffs become meaningless with a Padres/Phillies NLCS. Top that off with a Cleveland/Padres World Series that nobody will watch.

No, they weren’t, as I’m sure any Braves fan would agree. And, of course, if the Padres win one more, it will be even more obvious.

Braves payroll? Mets payroll? I dunno. I still go Mets if/until the Dodgers lose.

The Mets failure was blowing the division and only being the wild card. Had they not blown the division and lost like the Braves did in the divisional round maybe they’re be seen as the biggest playoff failure. But how they limped to the playoffs they were not expected to beat the Dodgers or Braves so they can’t be a bigger playoff failure than them.

And now that's two. Padres easily taking down the Dodgers might put the wild card series in a slightly different light as well.

Two worst NL teams in the playoffs are playing to get into the World Series. Wow. Could there be a sub-90 win World Series champion for the second year in a row?

It would be shocking to me if the Astros don't end up winning the World Series.

Have Bob Costas call those games too and it would definitely be a sh!t show for everyone bothered to tune in.

We go from Keith saying how much he hates watching them basically implying they suck to the Phillies going to the World Series. Comical!

And the post season as well. These post season games have been enjoyable baseball to watch, but if we end up with the Phillies as WS champs, the whole thing becomes a joke... the regular season and the post season.

He's one of the few Mets who actually showed up in the post season.
