What are some (semi-realistic) trades you’d like the Jets to make before the deadline? Bryce Hall and our 6th to the Lions for a 3rd - the Lions are thin, have extra capital, and Bryce is better than any Corner the Lions could draft. Becton and 2023 1st to Carolina for Derrick Brown. I have no problem with Becton and think he has a chance to rebound next year… but I’d love to have Brown here and with him added to the line we’d dominate for years. For Carolina, they get 2 assets to help with their rebuild and with Iky and Becy on the edges, they’ll give their next QB a fighting chance.
Becton being injured, I think makes him pretty much untouchable. I can’t see a team waiving the physical for him while giving up anything of real value.
Becton is injured - so he's a no-no. That said - you can never have enough pass rushers. Bradley Chubb's contract is going up in a puff after this season, so if Broncos go into a firesale mode, why not Chubb?
I didn’t realize you can’t trade someone on IR. And realistically Carolina has good D pieces so probably has 0 interest in trading him.
I was talking about Derrick Brown in my original post and my follow up. I have 0 interest in adding another Edge, especially one who’s about to get paid.
