Or saying we are open to a trade or he is gone as we don't suffer divas on this team, these two sayings will only hurt trade stock.

It certainly doesn't look like the players have a trust issue with Saleh, so it would be doubtful the new players would feel any different but you can worry about it if it makes you feel better.

Still banging on about the Wilson timeline lol give it up ffs.

Organizations ALL THE TIME say they aren't going to trade players and then they do.

Has zero to do with credibility.

You literally talk about Wilson in the post I quoted.

    You know this bit...

'when he told everyone on a Thursday that Wilson might play much earlier than he was ready and then we found out he had not even run on his repaired knee'

I mean, you hardly need a lot of mental gymnastics to understand that you rattling on as you did weeks ago about Saleh 'lying' about Wilson's injury timeline translates to

'still banging on about Wilson's timeline, lol give it up ffs'

Take it in your stride, no need to reply back and start an all-day back and forth on your misunderstanding of simple English, it is not required by me or anybody else on here.

Only Jets fans could be pissed about being 4 -- 2.

    Idiots.

No, I was talking about Saleh's credibility. Just because he was talking about Wilson when he stretched his credibility doesn't mean I was talking about Wilson. Also, I never claimed Saleh was "lying" about anything. If you need to misquote someone your point is too weak to make and it does nothing to help your own credibility. I'll gladly take responsibility for everything I write - not anything you falsely claim I wrote. Talk about misunderstanding any freaking language - sheesh!

I think the players love Saleh and have bought into the system. As far as fans/reporters believing what he says, is that really important? Bill Belichick is a hall of famer coach and no one believe a word of what he says, especially when talking about injuries. I think this is just you trying to cast this in a negative light.

It’s mostly his agent Tory Dandy. Dude is in his ear (like he’s been for a bunch of other players who have requested trades).

Both he and Moore are thinking about their paydays. If Moore performs average or below, the next contract will be low and both make less money that way. They both realize Moore can be used more/better, increasing his stats for his next contract negotiation.

Even the Jets are able to reconcile the situation with Moore, he’s still going to ask for AJ Brown money when his contract is up. I don’t think he’s worth that much money. Maybe it’s best we trade him now or in the off-season while his value is high. I would call up Atlanta and see if they’re interested in trading Kyle Pitts since they’re not utilizing him much either.

If Elijah believes he’s in line for an AJ Brown type deal, he’s gonna be in for a rude awakening.

AJ had back-to-back 1K yard years as a rookie and 2nd year player with 19 TDs (8 and 11 respectively). Elijah’s got about 700 yards and 5 TDs total so far in his career.

But, the Christian Kirk deal has skewed the WR market so he may get more than I think. If Kirk can get 18 AAV, Elijah probably can too.

Yes. JD should trade for right price. But Saleh saying definitively he won’t trade him can cause issues with the locker room.

I don’t understand how the coach saying he won’t trade the player is going to cause issues but the player wanting a trade because he’s not getting enough targets while the team is on the three game win streak will sit fine with everyone. Logic seems backwards here.

What is said in public rarely synchs with what is going on in private.

For sure but I don’t think any player playing for this coach that has the team at 4-2 with great vibes all around is going to be mad at the coach for saying he won’t trade the player that is putting himself above the team. I dunno. That just doesn’t seem intuitive. Especially when players are seemingly coming out in support of the team.

Whomever is in Moore's ear (AJ Brown), needs to just STFU and stop giving bad advice. They're not doin the kid any favors. I think Moore's agent is doing the kid a disservice as well.
