I would love to know who is giving him this advice. If it’s an agent, then he needs to find a new one immediately because he has a terrible agent. Something tells me it’s his buddies. Like the one that claims on Twitter that Elijah needs to be freed. From what exactly I don’t know.
definitely not a good look but we shouldn't overreact either i 100% agree he should have kept this in-house, but i can understand his frustration too hopefully cooler heads prevail and if not hopefully we get value for him. All that said, at this point he has to keep his trap shut or switch spots with Mims
The other guys that have made sacrifices for this team like AVT and CJ Mosley have to be fuming at the selfishness of Moore. AVT has played 4 positions on the OL in a year. Mosley does all the dirty work for this team and restructured his contract for the Jets. Moore bitches about not getting the ball.
What does he think is gonna happen if he requests trade? that he's gonna get his way? Horrible advise and now is a malcontent for all to see. Whatever
I wonder if this all started on draft day. Best bud gets traded and paid a shit ton of money. Jets draft Wilson. Roll on 6 weeks and the team in its best position in years, Elijah finds himself with everyone talking about the young dudes on this team: Garret Wilson Carter and hall Sauce Nobody talking about the main man with 0 targets last week. It's been brewing and young kid has some bad apples in his ear. Sent from my M2007J20CG using Tapatalk
If you are going to be a me first guy rather than a team first guy, showing that attitude so early in your career signals difficulties in the years ahead. I would accommodate his request. JD seems to be able to milk great value from trades, here is another opportunity.
Problem is he himself is still one of the young dudes on this team lol. I get him being frustrated but not when the overall team is having success. C'mon dude
LOL. Unbelievable. You're a 2nd year player. Calm the F down and enjoy being on a winning team. The Jets weren't passing the ball a lot because the running game was working. I mean hoo-lee-sh!t he just may be worst than T.O in terms of drama. Insane, just insane.
Not to mention 37 year old Duane Brown who could have gotten surgery and collected like $10 mil to just chill
The Jets have a lot of guys who probably would be best in the slot from GWilson down to Berrios. Moore has a lot of competition on the team for where he really wants to play and where he is likely to get the best numbers both production and salary. I'm going to take a wild guess and think that he's not the primary source of the issue at this point. I think his agents probably want to get him off the Jets and in better position to get a good second contract.
Obviously, we don't know everything that was said or what happened, but my God man, keep it private and keep your head down. We've won three in a row for the first time in a long time. The team is bigger than you.
i think he’s getting Bad advice. He’s literally been the #2 WR all year long. Just because he’s not getting the ball enough screams someone saying something in his ear. Jets will handle this much like the Mims situation. Talented but let the feelings calm down.
I love Elijah, he brought some swag and playmaking ability last year that we hadn’t seen in a long time. But he’s acting like a petulant child right now. He’s 4 targets shy of being 2nd on the team in targets and has the most snaps of any WR on our team. Guy needs to get over himself and quick or he’s gonna burn through whatever goodwill he’s got left with the CS and FO. I honestly wouldn’t be shocked if JD tried to trade him for a more established WR or a Day 2 pick. After this, I seriously doubt he’d command such a return in a trade but JD is a wizard with these things. Elijah for Terry McLaurin rn. Get it done JD. Throw in a Day 3 pick if you have to.
Trade him for value obviously, but trade him. Disgruntled employees can affect the whole team. Can't give in to his demands so why prolong the situation.
