How many times have we seen the Jets come out firing on all cylinders riding the momentum of a big win? I’m rooting for my team but I expect nothing.
Not often. That needs to change and Saleh knows it. I expect the Jets' best effort of the season on Sunday. Zach's first home game should have the crowd rocking too. Miami seems like a really good team even with Teddy starting, but I like the Jets' chances of pulling out the win.
One very positive defensive stat. The Jets have 6 ints in 4 games. They only had 7 ints for the entire last season. This is a big (and somewhat unnoticed) factor towards the team being 2-2 as opposed to 1-3 or 0-4.
Season ticket holder here. Section 101. I will be rocking my white #24 Revis jersey. I plan on not having a voice by 4:00 Sunday afternoon.
Be in the same seats I have been almost every home game for the last decade. Section 128 row 10. If there’s a meet up happening in the parking lot beforehand let me know where so I can meet some of you clowns.
(7) Paul Andrew Esden Jr on Twitter: "#Jets HC Robert Saleh delivered a strong message about closing the gap in the AFC East: ‘We have 12 consecutive division game losses, we have been outscored 358-158, 12 losses that s*** ain't flying, that s*** f****** ends this year’ #TakeFlight @nyjets https://t.co/7lwcRAwr4u" / Twitter
I would hope for some momentum but we just saw this a couple weeks ago coming off the Browns win we shit the bed at home against a better team. I get Tua is out but Teddy looked pretty good in his place and even made some plays with his legs….not sure it’s a huge drop off for them. our secondary will be tested for sure…this is where you need a HUGE pass rush because I don’t think there are many secondaries, if any, that can defend Hill, Waddle, and Gesecki if their QB has time in the pocket….they’re just too good. I expect a loss here to a better team, but Jets Dolphins games are often crazy despite records so anything is possible. shit…I didn’t think we had a chance in Pitt so I was as shocked as anyone that we pulled that game out. I think we likely lose but I hope we’re in the game…
Cool. Will let you know if I will be at the game or not. Expect a PM from me Saturday latest with details!
That's gonna continue to be the question until the team proves otherwise. Most of us are conditioned to expect the worst after a win because that's been our MO for the last decade. Sunday will go a long way to changing this culture if we can come out and just be competitive with a good Dolphins team. If we get a win? Look out.
vegas has had the Jets dogs in all 5 games so far. a wager on the jets to win each game this year is a positive ROI so far bettors havent caught up yet to the “new jets” as of yet. maybe the fish game is the turning point. Lam
Got my tickets for this game so I'll be there front and center. Funny that even though I don't think much of Tua he is a lot more dangerous then Teddy B ever was even with a small sample size with McDaniels. But with the receivers and backs on the team they do make me nervous. Hopefully the Jets can keep them close.
I am. I got my tickets awhile back though. There should hopefully be more available, but then again a rivalry game and the amount of New Yorkers/Jersey people who live down here who knows.
indeed.. its all about the pudding. that is, the performance(s). I still picked us to lose cos i. think the odds of us winning are below 50%. Not greatly below however. This Dolphins team ISNT THAT GOOD. They WERE down 35 -14 to Ravens. That 4th quarter is the equivalent of our last 2 mins vs Browns. An anomaly. Other games they scored 20,21 and 15. They give up more yards than we do. Our O's are close to one another in YPG.
