I agree. I really don't think there is a game plan... even in a bad game plan, there's a semblance of coherence.
He seems to pick plays out of a hat (laptop), & pray. Aside from the OL, I think this O could turn into something nice, only limited by an in-over-their heads CS.

Team showed great fight to never give up as I already had. Keep winning while you're figuring out how to form a more cohesive unit every week. I'll take it.

You are a bit critical. Saleh is very good at the culture stuff. It is the X and Os that is the question.

They ran the outside running play twice with MC as the lead blocker and it went for big gains both times. Why only run it twice?

That was a typical "taking your eyes of the ball before you catch it" moment.

Defense won it for us. No big plays. The QB virtually left Sauce and DJ alone. Carter got his revenge. Our line and lbs were OK.

Breece has a nice run outside the tackles as well.

ZW was so and so today but was good in the last possession where it matter the most. ZW doesn’t have to be great. He just needs o be smart.

As someone already stated this game could have been more comfortable then shown.

first down plays absolutely suck today. But there were good moments.

That was a huge play by Zach. If Steelers get that ball we don’t win.

Imagine how many sacks Flacco would've taken behind this line!

Saleh's game management deserves a lot of credit once again. His use of challenges has been better than any Jet HC in memory and I love how he tries to use all the clock so the other team has little chance to come back. He gets time management which might be a 1st for a Jet HC.

Agreed…Zach’s stats won’t look great today with the roughly 50% completion rate, but he was clutch when he needed to be

and his mobility was definitely key to escaping….good call to move AVT to LT man we are hurting on OL

as soon as they put in Pickett and then took a ten point lead I thought we were done but give ‘em credit they played through and came out with a win that I did not expect

coming out of that start at 2-2 is a good sign

Totally agree. Time management had been an issue for a couple of our last few regimes lol.
Coach Salah is doing a great job with the time management.

Now let's hope we can build on this momentum. Hoping to get a few lineman back healthy soon

That's one element that favors letting him have more time to get this thing turned around. Another is that the players obviously play hard for him and don't quit. Now, if he could just have a word or two with his OC about reminding him that there's no rule that says you have to run it up the gut on first down every damn time!

It was clear, to me anyway, that they don't trust him to throw on first down. Unfortunately, the CS hasn't figured out what every DC in the league knows: Stop the Jets from running on 1st and 2nd, force them into 3rd and long. That's exactly what happened for most of the game. It wasn't until desperation time when Zach was forced to throw on 1st down that he really began to shine. Wilson was undoubtedly the star of this game. Note to CS: Let Zach throw on 1st down. Also, OL did a decent job of giving him time. Moving AVT to left tackle was an excellent call.

I disagree... I'm very critical. But, alas, I'll defer my criticisms to a different day, a different thread.

His play calling is definitely under a microscope at this point. They probably have the worst first down output in the NFL.

I hope what he saw at the end of the game puts a light bulb over his head and learns that A. You don't need to call a run on first 80 percent of the time and B. You can pass over the middle of the field mid range. I feel like every pass that's not a dump off is outside the hash.

I honestly have no idea what he's trying to do.
