Yeah, I get the feeling they bullshitted the protocol last week. Now they may learn the hard way there’s a reason for it.

Forfeit all their '23 draft picks and divvy them up among AFC East divisional rivals with the bottom-feeding, last place Jets getting the lion's share

P.S. I think Miami's in trouble (as well they should be imho)

Amazon should be disgusted with themselves last night, especially that hypocrite Richard Sherman. Sherman was been one of the biggest advocators for player safety and removing TNF saying it is unsafe for the body to play on such short rest. During the halftime show they didn't address Tua’s injury v Buffalo on Sunday, how the Dolphins’ handled the protocols last week, or the start of NFLPA’s investigation. It was so obvious that he had head injuries last week and magically cleared whatever hurdles were in place.

I would be absolutely shocked if there aren't (more) hefty fines vs that shitty organization + someone losing their medical license. That scene on the field last night was absolutely terrifying and should have been totally avoided. There was zero reason he should have came back into the game last week and absolutely zero reason he should have suited up last night.

PS - That coach they hired sounds like an absolute moron in the post game presser. He's lying.

I hope Tua recovers fully. No-one wants to see that.

This is disturbing. The Dolphins hid an obvious concussion last week. He was unsteady on his feet and back injuries don't cause that response. This latest injury is now clear for all to see and could be devastating. The Dolphins have been reckless having played fast and loose with the guy's well being. What's worse is that they were allowed to get away with it.

Over here in the UK the game is amateur. No-one is paid to play or coach (beyond expenses). Yet independent medics must be present by rule. They have full autonomy over player injuries. If they suspect a concussion the player is withdrawn from the game and then suspended for a minimum of one month. They may return only on the basis of a doctor's clearance.

Tua should sit until similarly assessed unless he wants early onset dementia or CTE.

This comment here leads me to this question:

Is it worse that he was allowed back on the field last Sunday or worse that he was able to play last night?

Everyone in that organization needs to be put on blast -- including the independent team doctor.

Just watched the clip from Sunday thinking he got knocked up late in the 4th quarter. But no, it was the 2nd quarter

Obviously they brought him back because a perfect season was more important. In the end they end up getting exposed and embrassed on national "TV" days later.

I hope Tua ends up being OK going forward. If that happens again he may need to start thinking of another profession.

The head coach had to have known that Tua wasn't right. People need to be fined and suspended.

People forget that Tuas last coach didn’t believe in him, and the owner was falling over himself to get Brady, and THEN they were in on deshaun.

They don’t give two craps about tua and he knows that. He doesn’t care about dementia or CTE right now, he literally is playing for his future this year. A player can’t be trusted to be honest in that situation.
