Thought Conklin played very well yesterday. 8 catches on 8 targets for 84 yards. Hopefully this means the drops and fumbles are behind him.
Exhibit D: Just an awful decision and an awful throw. Has the RB wide open underneath and Conklin open in the flat. I get it's 3rd & 11 and he's trying to make a play but that's just an awful decision.
Yesterday's game cemented 3 things for me 1- Flacco is not and was never the answer near term, never mind questioning if he should remain at the helm longer. He is not an asset to this team at this stage. Simply horrible judgment calls, oblivious to open receivers left and right. does not improve the team, lacks motivation and fire in the belly. Wilson can only learn from him what not to do. 2- Ulbrich will single handed destroy the moral of this hard playing defense. He must go now 3- MLF, has what it takes, but needs to pull his " smarter than thou" offensive mentality right out of his ass, let his ego go, and emphasize a game plan than takes advantage of the players strength and what seems to be working best. . 4- Saleh needs to do less ra ra talking and more make his CS and players accountable for the fuck ups
the shout for week 2 should have been Flacco is still trash despite his first good game for us, ever. People see what they want, they got excited, kind of like the Mike White (and I include myself in these) posters last season. Though now you mention the 100% Streveler, give it to that guy.
Its the understanding as to why we do this We have SUCKED@ QB FOREVER..FOR....EVER.. People get excited when a QB for NYJ does ANYTHING special... We WANT to believe...but unfortunately, its STILL, a mirage
Any given Sunday, Brook. Steelers are 0-6 without TJ Watt. Mitch Trubisky is terrible. The Steelers OL isn't good either. If Zach is even average I think the Jets win that game.
The premise than we must at all cost find out what we have in Wilson looms bigger than ever. God forbid, but if he was to get reinjured, this CS better do something other than Flacco. If there is one thing we absolutely know for a fact is this. Flacco is not the answer.
Unless the CS fucks up the game plan once again, of course. They better give this kid an offensive game plan to maximize his strenghts, not MLF ego.
Translation, the rooks clearly lead the parade, but they will not be further utilized until they learn the whole, ineffective, remaining part of the play book. Like playing Moore wide all the time. How is that working?
