think he learned from last week? 14 targets for G. Wilson and it showed off today.
Rest of the offense looked pretty good, maybe going a little heavy with the pop pitch around but not many complaints from me today

Well, Garrett Wilson was a stud today. Maybe now they will open up the playbook for him. Game-winning TD beats all. Plus he's tough got injured and came back to contribute.

To be a stature. Flacco has the worst feet for a QB I've seen in a long time. Really expected him to calm down the offense and at least cut the errors down.

Flacco will never be seen as the most mobile QB the Jets have ever had behind center but he was good enough yesterday to win. Just enjoy a victory for once.

Of course. Flacco looked horrible and I'm betting the Jets can't wait to replace him. Just to go a little further the defense was horrible also. Chubb and Hunt slice them up for 4 quarters. Yes the Jets won they had some luck for sure and you have to put it in perspective. It's the Browns who haven't won anything huge since Paul Brown.

Why don’t you also put in perspective that WE lost the game against the Ravens. Our own mistakes. That’s just the way it is.

    No complaints on this end.

I would like to see the ball spread around more but if Wilson is the open man then feed him.

At some point teams will start to scheme against him with double teams and safety help.

A good QB will make adjustments while a poor one will continue to look for their security blanket.

Last year Zach and Davis were the dynamic duo against Carolina and Zach failed to adjust when the Patriots focused on Davis.

Zach tried to force the ball to Davis when other guys were better options in that game.

They can double team GW, but that will leave Elijah Moore open.

Yep. When you really look at it, what was the difference between the two games for the Jets?

Week 1. The Jets make unforced errors at key moments and the Ravens made key plays when they needed to.

Week 2. The Browns made unforced errors at key moments and the Jets made key plays when they need to.

When you haven't got one team that is clearly far more talented than the other, pretty much every game comes down to this it seems to me.

Spot on. Watching the game yesterday between Buffalo and the Titans, a similar thing flew off the page for me. While the Bills are a superior team, no question, the Titans committed so many unforced errors and stupid penalties they took themselves completely out of the game with any chance to be competitive.
At the end of the day, when the teams are fairly equal, the one that that makes the least errors, and least costly penalties, has a great chance to finish on top. If you are overmatched, then you absolutely need almost a perfect game to be competitive, and a little luck for the other team to screw themselves up to gain an upset..

The difference between week 1 and week 2 was the o-line didn't stink it up as much.

Good to know that the OL were responsible for 4 ST points being missed, a lost fumble, dropping a walk-in touchdown on the 2 yard line, busting a coverage in the secondary, PI calls and a shanked punt.

Yes the OL played better. Hardly shocking. They've had over a week to practise now rather than 2 days.

Some interesting observations as to why the Jet's offense had success by Pavia. Pavia breaks down 12 of the best offensive plays. Just watching the film of Flacco I love his mechanics and how calm his backfoot is when he hits the back of his drop. These are the best plays but it is beautiful to see a QB hit plant their backfoot and bam the ball is out. Would love to see Zach not bouncing on the backfoot and look like Flacco in this video.

Yeah we might have played a little cleaner game to. How about the difference on offense was the o-line played better.

I respectfully disagree. Primary difference was special teams, they were truly special Sunday, and actually help win the game for us to some extent, while conversely they clearly helped loose it for us week one, with missed opportunities, shank puts and dumb ass penalties. Add drop passes, fumbles and voila.
OL is getting better no doubt, the rookie saved our bacon with a recovered fumble. I predict it wont be long before McGovern becomes the weak link on this line, not the T position. At which time the JD critics will rise once again and point out JD should have done something at C last year, blah, blah, ...you know the routine. There will always be something to bitch about.

Yep. 80-85% of all NFL games play out like this.

Right now there are 2 teams in the AFC that are a cut above the rest, KC and BUF. Everyone else you could throw their names in hat and pick out a winner each week.
